About this listen

Classes continue at Haylon academy. Ken has identified who's behind the attacks on his Fieore and is determined to remove that particular problem, yet Haylon rules prevents him from taking it into his own hands.

As they dive deeper into the dungeon, Crimson prepares him and the rest of the first years on how to camp in the dungeon. When their camping exercise is interrupted, Ken's done, and this time, he means business.

Ken going all out with his abilities tell him one thing—Ken was never trained as an adventurer. Ken was trained as an assassin....

Great

Good story progression, not constantly hit with detailed intimate scenes though enough to give good character/relationship building in the story.

The rabbit is just horribly cute

This is a great follow-up on the previous book in the series, this time we get to see more of the grandparents and even some scenes from Crimson's perspective.

Very enjoyable

Didn’t realise how spicy this book would be but it certainly adds to the story experience, lots of stealth and action and adventure, great narration although Ken sounds like he is in his 50s rather than 19 , am definitely rooting for Ken and crimson tho

Enjoyable listen

This is more of a personal opinion than a review. I love the world building and explanation of the dungeon. The pacing kept me interested and the narrator's do a great job, particularly Roselyn who has multiple voices to maintain. The intimate scenes are not really my kind of thing but far from the worst I've heard.
My one criticism that might put me off continuing the series is my growing dislike for some of the characters. This is my personal opinion but I've never been a fan of the so called good guys who regularly use their arrogance and intimidation to get what they want from others. Their also quite bloodthirsty, bordering on being villains themselves. we'll just see how things progress in book 3 as I'm still intrigued.
