About this listen

A former villain is living a quiet life, hidden among the masses. Miles has one big secret: He might just be the most powerful super in existence.

Those days are behind him. But when a wounded young lady unable to control her superpower needs his help, she shatters his boring life, pulling him into the one place he least expected to be—the Bureau of Superheroes.

Now Miles has an opportunity to change the place he has always criticized as women flock to him, creating both opportunity and disaster.

He is about to do the strangest thing a deputy director of the bureau has ever done: start saving supervillains.

Very good but missing something for my taste

I would have loved it even more of the big bad enemy towards the end actually put up a fight

Entertaining Romp

Likeable characters entertaining story if a little cliched Totally unbelievable but enjoyable escapism. Will definitely be downloading book2

It’s a nice Harem story it does have some raunchy scenes but not too many and they do fit the plot

Narration is very good from both Narrators.
I’d only previously listened to the Dragons justice series from Bruce before this has some similarities but a bit more comic book and probably a bit less grown up

If you want Hero’s v Supervillans with romance thrown in it’s worth a try

Great, up to a point.

A great series with many interesting characters for the protagonist to bounce off of. the real problem I have is there is a lot of potential in the plot that never really goes anywhere or abruptly gets resolved.
it genuinely feels like the author realised he had 5mins left to finish the book and rushed at the end (looking at you book 5).

Amazing book! The story was different from anything I’ve read before, I was enveloped through out the whole book
