Get hooked on a twisted story
Wow. Book 2 was fantastic like book 1 was . This book 2 picks up where book 1 ended.
Mercy once again can only depend on herself once she’s taken hostage by her ex . What can I tell you , there are not enough words. It has mystery ( who betrayed Mercy ) suspense, revenge , it will take you up and down like a roller coaster. It ends on a cliffhanger, stay tuned for book 3
JF Harding and Ava Lucas were fantastic, I can’t say enough of their performance.

What A Rollercoaster Ride
The crazy rollercoaster ride continues from where "Princess" left off! I love Mercy she's such a strong heroine constantly underestimated by the men around her but always managing to make it out alive, although she does seem to have acquired an enemy whose identity remains unclear. Of the four guys, Kaige remains my favourite although she and Rowan have finally talked about why he broke her heart and they both know where the blame lies. Gideon's role in the story has become more central, he's finally admitted that he does have feelings other than duty and we can see what Mercy is starting to mean to him. As for Wylder well, I'll let you draw your own conclusions, at times I liked him but then.... Mind you when you take his father into account his actions can be forgiven.
This drama continues, there are so many surprises and so many times I was on the edge of my seat, we have finally met the leader of the Nobles, Ezra, we already know how bad her father was but I think in some ways Wilder's is worse he's evil in carnet and will do whatever he wants to remove any threats he perceives even if it's someone he's just embraced into the fold. Colt's downfall is central to Mercy existence and to achieve it she'll go to any lengths, but as far as I'm concerned he finally got what he deserved and delivered by the right person. But then we discover there is more at stake than we knew, the ending that left me with my mouth open and a feeling of what next? All in all, it was an awesome story, wonderfully narrated by J.F. Harding and Ava Lucas who bring so much depth to the characters, I can't wait to see how this is all going to end.

wow book 2 did not disappoint, it is packed with action and keeps you on the edge off your seat. can't wait for book 3!
