Summary

Humanity's Exodus is about to begin.

When half of mankind revolts and demands more opportunity, those at the top decide on a compromise: They will build the first colony ships and allow the rest to discover new worlds and start over.

Twelve ships are built. The first is called the Orion.

Many are eager to go, but only 100,000 are chosen for each vessel. Far from Earth, a new life awaits, and it promises the prosperity they've always wanted.

But still, resistance stirs.

There are those who are eager to sabotage this new expansion effort, threatening the promise of a new life. As Orion moves through the void of space, towards a distant world, its passengers must fight for survival in an unprecedented conflict.

Win or lose, their future will be forever changed.

Experience a sprawling galactic tale in this first entry to The Orion Colony series. If you're a fan of Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, or Indiana Jones, you'll love this epic, space opera adventure.

Really enjoyed the series so far, heard 1 to 3. Hopefully will be many more.
Its great how Ray Porter gives each character a different voice.

Another great read from Jonathan Yanez

This was my very first audible experience so went with what I knew.

once again you can never go wrong with JY. the voice actor took a bit to get used to and the voices and accents used for characters weren't how I imagined them but that's more on me.

voice actor was clear and kept you engaged and the storyline is engrossing. once again it's a 5 star story and would recommend it to anyone.

A taster rather than a book.

When the book ended I didn't feel it had got started. Is book 1's only purpose to get the situation started so they could sell book 2?
Is the main characters only skill the ability to hit people?
