About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

The memoir from Wrexham's star player, Paul Mullin, as featured in Welcome to Wrexham, a Disney+ documentary series by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

In July 2021, shortly after being named League Two's Player of the Season and Golden Boot, Paul Mullin sent shockwaves through the EFL by taking a downwards move to National League team, Wrexham AFC. Since then, 'Super Paul Mullin' has helped transform the Wrexham team, scoring dozens of goals and capturing the imaginations of football fans across the world in the process.

Here for the first time, Mullin tells his own story: his roots in Liverpool, the highs and lows of English football's promotion race, lessons learnt from his young son, and what happens when Hollywood comes knocking.

Amazing Father first and an amazing footballer.

As a Wrexham fan it was fascinating to listen to. A glimpse behind the curtain. This book was a great listen. Highly recommend.

Great Listen

wonderful listen, always like to listen to books that the author reads. Paul comes across as a family man first and footballer secondly. From a Crewe bloke and A United season ticket holder, all what he said still resonated. Fxxk the Tories.loved it all. Best of all, short chapters.

Paul’s obvious love for his son

As much as the behind the scenes view of football is fascinating, Paul comes to life when he talks about his family.
His love for his son is obvious, and brought me to tears.
I know a lot of other parents of autistic children and the work he is doing in raising awareness and acceptance is fantastic.
Hoping nothing but the best for all of you in the future,
Another proud autism dad

Great incite!

As a Wrexham fan I have been looking forward to this book for a while, it doesn’t disappoint. Paul’s message of humble hard work and quiet determination is one that really resonates. No matter what you want to accomplish in life you’ll find some universal wisdom in here.

Amazing story!

Read by Paul mullin himself, so honest and great to hear about the goings on behind the scenes. Sounds like a great family guy at the top of his career to date. Well worth a listen.
