Summary
My sin? Falling in love.
People say "Go to Hell" like it's a place. It is. But it's also a state of existence, one with which I'm intimately familiar.
What else would you expect for one of the damned, though? You know, those of us who’ve been cast out. The Fallen Ones.
We’re all doomed to an existence of absolute suffering for daring to piss off the Big Guy.
So what’s my hell?
Knowing what true love is, and being forced to spend the rest of my immortal life without it.
My Soul to Take is a stand-alone forbidden-love-meets-fated-mates romance that explores how far a fallen angel will go for a second chance to save her soulmate.

Fascinating & Heartfelt! Amazing Story & Listen🎧
Meg Anne continues to blow me away with another amazing and beautifully written paranormal fantasy romance novel. It is a love story like no other, an original story with fascinating storylines that captivate your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. I adored both lead characters, Maisie and Sawyer. Maisie, a fallen angel, is a contractor for the devil and Sawyer has a terminal illness who is looking to live a life without pain and illness. To do that, he will need to make a deal with the devil and sell his soul, and Maisie would be the one to seal that deal. Except, she recognizes something in Sawyer and for her own personal reasons, she does not want him to make that deal. She can not tell him that, so she buys some time, hoping to change his mind. I loved how everything played out in this book, the plotting and world building is fantastic and so is the character growth and development. And that twist at the end was incredible. Meg Anne, thank you for this exceptional story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice a voice that was fitting and was believable in the roles they played. Hunter nailed the role of Maisie, fully embodying her personality, internal struggle, strength, and determination. Her accent from Maisie's past life was also incredible. Harding was just as amazing as Sawyer, grasping the struggle with his illness and his determination to free of it at any cost. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance, capturing their characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These wonderfully talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Star-Crossed Soulmate Romance
My Soul to Take by Meg Anne is a star-crossed soulmate romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding.
All I can really say is WOW! I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see how it was all going to play out. Meg took me on an emotional roller coaster that I never wanted to get off. Absolutely amazing!
Stella and J.F. were absolutely amazing! They always make me feel every emotion that the characters are feeling. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like forbidden romances, fated mate's romances, second chance romances, or paranormal romances.

Adventures & Soulmates
This was a beautiful story about the lengths you go for your soulmate, what you would do to save them, what you would give up for them, and how love can survive across time.
It was emotional, fun, flirty, a little sad and reflective. It was full of adventure, tenderness and love.

Such A Moving Story
I have had the pleasure of both reading and listening to this story, and although I loved reading it listening to this moving, emotional story beautifully performed by the very talented Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding lifted this exceptionally moving story to an even higher level.
This book brought me to tears many times and admit I was not prepared for the level of heartbreak or the emotions evoked by this quick yet devastating story.
Maisie is a Fallen Angel, a contractor for the devil, it's her punishment for daring to fall in love with a mortal 700 years ago. In her words, "her existence since then
is knowing what true love is and being forced to spend the rest of my immortal life without it. Doomed to an existence of absolute suffering for daring to piss off the Big Guy".
She's sent to meet Sawyer and get him to sign away his soul, he has a terminal illness and just wants to live what's left of his life to the fullest, without pain or illness and is prepared to go to any lengths to do so.
Maisie still feels the pain of the loss of her soulmate centuries later but when she meets Sawyer she knows it's her soulmate who has been reborn and will do anything to convince him not to sell his soul. They strike a deal, Sawyer will give her seven days to convince him not to take such a drastic step but will she be able to convince him?
Maies is a wonderful character and Sawyer is great, despite all he's suffered his personality is so nice, even with the diagnosis, a death sentence really, he still has a joyful personality which was especially evident whenever he was with Maisie. He's funny, kind and flirty and I just loved the banter shared by him and Maisie. I loved going along on Maisie and Sawyer's crazy and surprising adventures. Adventures Sawyer sees as the best times in his life even though he has no idea why she's doing this. But even as she's doing this you just know she's on a losing deal, he wants to live but what they get up to is so wonderfully crazy and romantic.
Their story is told in the present time with flashbacks telling us what happened in Maisie's past and explaining what's going on currently. Meg broke me and then put me back together again. I didn't think it was possible for Meg to pack something so wonderful into a story of only 188 pages or four and a half hours of listening.
This is a love story, about a love that lasted more than a single lifetime and the sacrifice she made for her soulmate was.... read or listen to it yourself and you'll know what happened and understand.
Thank you Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding for such a wonderfully moving performance.

Soulmate!
Well, well, well. I’m so happily surprised and mad at myself that this is the first book by just Meg Anne. I’m such a fan of her collaborations with Kim Loraine that I should shake myself. I absolutely loved this book and all the feels that Meg created in my heart and mind! Or should I say my soul to take, because Meg you sure did with your book!
Now I can go to sleep and say my prayers and ask for my soul to take; be done by a man who could carry it so completely as Saint, Sawyer, my heart was so completely given to this character that I wish I could pluck him straight from the heavens.
And there has never been a more beautiful fallen angel than Maisie, or Maddie. And Stella creates a wonderful woman who I want as my bestie in her. And maybe just a tad jelly of for her undying love for her soulmate. And JF Harding stole my heart and soul with his performance in this book.
Now I will go give myself a huge shake and get my butt at a humongous backlog of wonderful books by Meg Anne and I couldn’t be more excited for this adventure to come. Heart be still.
This audiobook was the perfect lullaby for my soul.

This book will rip your heart out
A love that spans across lifetimes. That's the central tenet of this beautiful little gem of a story from the extraordinary talent of Meg Anne. If you love big sweeping epic love stories of a pair of soulmates who keep finding their way back to each other over centuries then this is for you.
Sawyer is running out of options and frustrated his terminal disease is robbing him of the chance for a normal life he makes a desperate call to the devil to sell his soul for a normal healthy life. But who should come from Hell to make the deal to collect? The beautiful, jaded and mysterious soul contractor Maisie and this is not the first time she's met Sawyer...but he doesn't remember.
That's as far as I'll go plot wise, you have to live this one, but its an emotional ride. You will experience everything, agonising sorrow, exquisite joy and that trademark wicked humour you can only get from a Meg Anne story. Its a haunting reminder of how precious mortality is and to grab hold of life and just start living. The power of connection can transcend anything and the lengths we will go to for the ones we love. The other half of our souls. Its a gorgeous and romantic tale and I just felt immediately invested in Maisie and Sawyer's story.
The power of audio comes in to play again for this one and my American Dream Team of Stella Hunter and J.F Harding DID NOT DISAPPOINT. They are two of the very best voice actors working to date in my opinion and this perfectly showcases both their talents and their unique chemistry making Sawyer and Maisie's love story so real. They both magnificently manage to transport us back and forth through the past lives and present of these two lovers merely by switching up their voices slightly. True aural talent!
Stella Hunter has an intoxicating siren quality to her voice which she wields expertly throughout this book. As Maisie she brings out her trademark dulcet tones with undertones of hurt which is staggering to listen to. But then she also expertly brings in her sweet and innocent lilts to show Maisie's more open nature, before fate dealt her a cruel hand, and how wonderous she found the world to be. Its endearing and addictive to listen to.
J.F Harding has become one of my all time favourite people to listen to in anything. He has cornered the market in portraying characters with vulnerabilities that just make you want to swoon every single time. This is probably one his finest performances yet as he is able to sensitively play a man with terminal illness railing at the universe but also make him one of the sweetest and adorable guys that will make you melt. Add in a ridiculously sexy English accent in a previous life, pitch perfect comedic timing and flair and everything in between. Its no wonder he has a loyal fanbase.
Its a miraculous, captivating, heartbreaking, all consuming, irresistible concoction of a well crafted story of love across the lifetimes from a trio of unparalleled gifted storytellers. I will be re-listening over and over.

Full of emotions
If you’re looking for a beautiful love story that breaks your heart and only kind of make it whole again at the end, that’s the one. Just know that it isn’t your regular happily ever after–mostly the promise of one.
The book is set in two periods–three with the epilogue–and in two worlds. In another time, Maisie and Sawyer met, fell in love, and had a tragic ending: it was a forbidden romance between a human and an angel. Now Maisie is a fallen angel charged with signing away souls, and Sawyer wishes to sell his in exchange for his life, as he’s terminally ill. Though Sawyer has no memory of his other life, Maisie remembers and knows that if Sawyer forfeits his soul, they can never be together again.
We get some scenes in the other realm where we learn what Maisie’s job entails, meet with other creatures, and the scenes from the past reveal the depth of Maisie and Sawyer’s feelings for each other–and explain what happened to them. But mostly, the story revolves around a series of dates where she wants to convince him not to sign away his soul.
The general mood of the book is bittersweet. There are cute scenes, funny scenes, some with some sexual tension, and of course there are some really sad moments. And the thing is that, by spending time together, they fall in love again, and Sawyer wants to live even more so. The weight of Fate is almost tangible, and it’s even more tragic when it keeps separating two souls that obviously belong together.
The narration brings the story to another level. Maisie’s helplessness is undeniable in the female narrator’s voice, and the male narrator acts Sawyer’s illness perfectly. This audiobook is full of emotions. I had just one frustration: to have this male narrator in particular playing a singer, and not having him sing anything.
