Summary
Weston Conrad is the best headhunter in the business. That handsome smile goes a long way toward convincing most people to trust him with their future. I'm not most people. I'm his direct competition. And it doesn't hurt to be just the kind of woman he's been looking for.
I'm gonna flash you these legs, Weston Conrad. I'm gonna wear low-cut shirts and micro-mini skirts. I'm gonna dazzle you with wit and conversation and kiss those lips like they're exactly what I've been waiting for.
So don't hate me when you figure out my secret. You understand, right? You're Mr. Corporate, and this is just business.

High Maintenance Female
High Maintenance Female - I nearly didn't finish this, I had real trouble tolerating the female lead, she calmed down somewhat and the story developed nicely, some good twists.
However this is not my favourite Mister book. West was a great male lead but not as engaging for me as the other Mr's
Narrators were very good.

Fantastic!
Mr Corporate (Mister #3) adds even more mystery and intrigue to this fantastic series. Weston and Victoria have a love/hate relationship and whenever they meet sparks fly. So when they’re stranded together things between them get pretty hot and very dangerous as they learn they have more in common than they ever realised. It’s a brilliant, well written, and exciting read that you don’t want to miss!

Oh Mr Corporate!
What a great story! Mr Corporate, AKA Weston Conrad, comes over as a bit of an a..hole, but I loved him. Victoria is a wonderful fire cracker who is more than a match for him! Again, the narrators are spot on, adding to the overall fabulousness of this audio 💖💖💖💖💖

Love the series - HATE this book
Ohhh my. Could the main female character be any more of an annoying, whiny, female dog, horrible and unlikeable character?! Don’t really know what West liked about her - other than his kink obviously being for a damsel who slaps him around and plays hard to get. Really struggled to finish this book. Reallllllly struggled. Only because I like the series did I keep going.
In addition, the whole story was based on people having secrets and going round in circles and not talking. Not so much plot, but repetitive arguments about the same old stuff. I think it was supposed to build up intrigue and mystery but it just fell so far from that mark. When you break down what ACTUALLY happened in the story, the conclusion is - not a lot. I could summarise it in a few sentences no problem, but then this review would be a spoiler. I know the point of the series is for the tangled web of lies and events to gradually be revealed but this book was an EPIC fail.
Plus, why you would think marriage is a good idea when you’ve never even talked about yourself to your intended, I do not know. Obviously I have higher expectations about what marriage is about.
Narration was good. Abby Craden was cast perfectly to capture the utter idiot that was Victoria.
Eughhh. Now I’ve got to get over my book grump and try and choose another book to listen to. Feel like it’s a nest of vipers and any of them might be awful despite high ratings. How has this book got 4.5/5 when it’s so rubbish?!?! How can I trust any other ratings for other books? I’m hoping the rest of the series will be ok because I like JA Huss, and the other books won’t be about Victoria - already, that’s a major plus. Still going to wait a while before getting Mr Mysterious because I need to get over my book-hate first.

Better!
I think that I’m going to quit whilst I’m ahead! This is better, but not great! I think, given the comments from the author at the end, things might just get better? The intro it to Mr Mysterious is intriguing, but I’m still not tempted!
However, this is the first time that I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed both of the narrators. They both did a good job of mimicking each other and it came across as really authentic so, five stars for that alone but minus stars for practically everything else.
