Great Read, highly informative and Engaging.

I'd recommend this for every Christian and Non Christian.
For Christians there is enough bitesize information yo affirm your faithful and aid you when evangelising to atheists and theists of other faiths.

for the atheists this will get you started on evidence that Christ is who he says he is

Truly, Christianity is not a religion

Christianity is not a religion, it's not an ethical idea; it's not a psychological phenomenon. It's a person - Jesus Christ - who is in the business of changing lives.
This is a well documented biography of Josh McDowell, well read by Sean his son, and very clear message of when he met his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through a dare from another Christian to search and seek the truth of who Jesus really is. We hear it all the time from sceptics, media, world views to prove it, and why does God allow this, and that etc... and still those who don't believe in God, and say there is no God, are yet the first to break His commandments by taking God's name in vain. Listening to this audible (I also have the book) brought joy, and excitement for more knowledge of God. Now the book goes into much greater depth, and proof than the recording. I believe Sean is reading from the 1st edition which his dad wrote. But none the less I can say, if you are searching the truth about God, then get the book. Have a read of it, follow up on Josh's research, you'll find the evidence is out there as plain as just taking a look above your head, on a clear night, up at the heavens above you. The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. Psalm 97:6

amazing book!

love the narrator - great enthusiasm. book is very logical and contains all the important bits to construct the argument even though its abridged version. must read for any Christian.

Another great witness to the validity of the Gospe

After just having finished The Case for Christ, this was a wonderful revision. The content of the two books is very similar.
This book reads effortlessly, and the reader does a wonderful job. Thank you.

This is a good book for someone who wants to accept Christianity but still looking for evidence. However, I find the evidence discussed here is a bit lame. The historical "evidence" here depends on the number of texts that support Christianity without validating the reliability of these texts and on a large number of prophecies that we cannot be sure if they were written before or after Jesus.
It is still a good book, trying its best to convince people of the undeniable evidence that it claims exists, while if you want to think objectively and not let yourself taken by the authors verbal excellency, you'll find the evidence as good as that of other religions (I'm trying not to name one). Atheists on the other side do not claim -as far as I know- that science is on their side as the author believes, but they rather refuse religion as an explanation and simply confess that they do not know.

Rather disingenuous

The premise of this book is a tad unbelievable; the skeptic becomes a full-on apologist, based on detailed research and historical evidence. The evangelical tone is puridly unobjective and overwhelming. The 'evidence' presented is scant, or not presented at all (other than 'after 700 hours I was convinced'), or comes down to the Bible is true because the Bible. I had it recommended to me, and rather disappointed it presents nothing revalatory, so to speak. God fan fiction, if you lie.

will work for a believer but poor arguments

the book is basically a guy setting out to prove the bible wrong but ending up being a believer......was recommended this but actually if I'm honest his evidence is bad and reasons not up to snuff for warranting his new belief so if you are looking for good arguments for god this unfortunately is not it , if you are wanting something to agree with your beliefs then yes it will probably be a good confirmation bias for you but if you were actually genuinely looking for good logical arguments then this book isn't going to give you anything of real substance.....other than that it's not terrible though I did find the narration a little irritating as (through no fault of his own , the contentsby itself gives this impression) the guys voice sounded like a young guy which just added to the disappointment as it made it all feel a bit like a snot nosed kid thinking he knows everything trying to tell you something when actually to someone with a little more life experience you realise he doesn't know what doesn't know , I'm sure we've all experienced those types
