Summary

The Gorafrex is trying to power an ancient ship that could destroy not just Austin. Big sister Laura may have the key to solve it.

It’s not a problem she can solve alone, but she knows just who to call when she's in trouble.

It’s good to have friends who know the secrets your family is keeping.

Nickie has to learn to control her magical music without killing herself or her sisters. Emily wants to be a head chef if she can just keep her magical feelings out of her cooking and away from paying customers.

The sisters have a lot to learn about their magic, the legacy rings, and the strange iron weapons the rings created. And if they don’t work together, they’ll never find the pieces they’re missing before the Gorafrex takes another human host.

Step 1: Destroy the energy cores. Step 2: Lock up the Gorafrex. Step 3: Lead a normal life as a Hadstrom witch and tell your boyfriend nothing. No pressure.

Great continuation of the series

The story continues with the sisters trying to stop the Gorafrex taking more hosts to power up the ship surrounding the prison. The downside, the ship covers a large portion of Austin. They have to destroy the energy cores before the Gorafrex can power them up. Unfortunately, one energy core has already been powered up – there are 12 in total and the ship can run on 6.

The sisters powers are increasing and they are learning new spells each day but they have to be careful with them – Emily’s emotions are transferred to her food, which isn’t good when she is a chef at a restaurant and the patrons start going crazy.

Laura, the eldest sister meets a new professor, the downside? He’s part Kashgar (the tall b&*”*&£ as Bernie from the Maggie Parker series likes to call them).

This book is a fantastic continuation of the series – the sisters are trying to figure things out, learn to work together and keep their boyfriends from finding out the truth about them being witches.

Excellent story and narration
