This book is a crash course in effective reasoning, meant to catapult you into a world where you start to see things how they really are, not how you think they are. The focus of this book is on logical fallacies, which loosely defined, are simply errors in reasoning. With the reading of each page, you can make significant improvements in the way you reason and make decisions.

Logically Fallacious is one of the most comprehensive collections of logical fallacies with all original examples and easy to understand descriptions, perfect for educators, debaters, or anyone who wants to be improve his or her reasoning skills.

"Expose an irrational belief, keep a person rational for a day. Expose irrational thinking, keep a person rational for a lifetime." (Bo Bennett)

Please name the chapters in the audio book!!!

Currently the chapters aren't numbered, which makes it difficult to refer back to a specific fallacy.

Brilliant fallacy reference

I'm new to the realm of critical thinking. Bo does a good job with this gentle introduction.

I'll be using this book as a reference in the future.

Beware of Reviews

I felt the need to write this review in regards to the reviewer that states the author attacked President Trump. Nowhere in the book does the author refer to President Trump. He does however talk of lying politicians and how their supporters believe those lies. The logical conclusion is that they assumed the author was talking about Donald Trump. Which likely means that they know that Donald Trump lies. Obviously this book revealed uncomfortable truths for the reviewer, when they obviously prefer comforting lies and will continue down the rabbit hole.
This book is about reason. To some, reason is beyond them.

this is my 2nd time listening to the audio book and I was surprised that it seems to have been updated to the original book with up to date references that I'm sure wern't there on my first listen.

Examples aren't the best.

The author's examples come across as childish alot of the time using
phrases like "AssHat"
For instance.
Its otherwise a good listen.

Extraordinarily actual

It's difficult to evaluate this book in an objective way, after listening to all the fallacies inside it. This is how good it is at pointing out all our argumentation mistakes.
It's complete in such a way that it might be the only book I'd revisit later. A master-piece in modern logic, sprinkled with well-directed humour.
