Excellent
A really good story once you get past the strong character of Hades, he is very dominant but beneath it all he does have heart and Percefony is looking for someone to give her the love she has craved all her life along with desperate need for freedom, may be 1 out of 2 is not bad .

Problematic
I love the idea of a retelling of this story and I'm not one to shy away from a dominate sexual side but this isn't that and it's an issue I've seen before in books it's not even a non concent- content style he just took her made her cry and gets off on making her suffer and abuses her and she has very little experience of men and sex and then in the last half hour there meant to want and need each other desperately like it's a love story when I didn't get that again all this is personal preference it's not for me a bit disappointing

NO concent - this story is problematic, not spicy
I don't normally leave reviews on books I don't enjoy, as it is usuay just a personal preference..
The original story of Hades and Persephone is complicated, and a retelling must be difficult, but it has been done really well several other times..
I found this retelling problematic - NO consent, which makes Hades a sadistic sexual predator, and Persephone a kidnap victim who is being assaulted.
