Enjoyable book
This was a surprise, I never really likes the character of Junior much in previous books, but this one shows a whole new side to him which surprised me as I never thought he could be shown in a redeeming light. after all even his brother's were wary of him
This had a enjoyable enjoyable and likeable characters.
Again I liked the narration. As a non US listener, I've struggled with the US accent in a lot of books on Audible, however have found I prefer the ones with male narrators.

Mafia Bad Man
No one should miss this one
The ultimate billionaire Bad Man...this definitely not a boy! Bred up by his father to be the next leader of the Tacone mafia family n the Windy City, the heir the throne and in charge while the Don is in jail. Running the family's loan sharking business, in a dispute over territory There's a trap and he shoots and kills every last one of the Bratva who tried to ambush him. His brother Gio is badly injured in the firefight, hospital is out of the question, as Gio would be arrested. So what does he do? Kidnaps a feisty trauma nurse and makes her care for his brother at home. Definitely a Bad Man!
But even a Bad Man can have tragedy in his life that colours his every move from the start. And this trauma nurse, has tragedy too, as her young son has been stolen from her.
He had begun to want her for himself when she was employed nursing his Mother a while ago, maybe the feeling was mutual? But no mother can have a Bad Man in her young sons life. And so the tragedy begins to play out.
He's my favourite anti hero yet! And how these two find a HEA is due to the compelling twists and turns of a well plotted and gripping story.

The bad boy of the family meets his fated matched partner
Having listened to all the previous books in the series and loved each and everyone had mixed feelings about Junior. Having previously made an cameo in the series and did not come across as a "nice guy". With the intro of this book he carries out a meeting which goes badly wrong and resulting in his brother getting shot. Unable to bring him to a hospital which would raise too many questions he is not prepared to answer he kidnaps Desiree an ER Nurse who previously cared for his Mother. Obviously she is frightened with the situation but the more time they spend together the more they get to know each other, particularly what is behind Junior's mask. From mixed feelings if I would enjoy reading this characters story to utterly loving this book it is definitely a 5 stars from me. The passion between these two was electric and and out of the bedroom and discovering the backstory as to how Junior was pigeon holed into the role he plays within the family/organisation was enlightening and informative.

Love this audio book love the series i get so happy when renee rose has a new audio book out the gravely voice growling in your hear is brilliant i loved the whole story at first you never thought junior would fall and fall hard this really is one audio you really dont want to miss

So enjoyable
This is a great listen and finally getting Juniors book was such a welcome book. It was so enjoyable to see the different sides of Junior after seeing the little snippets that were hinted at through the previous books.
