Summary

Do you occasionally have that strange feeling known as déjà vu? Do you sometimes feel that you know what is going to happen next? Do you ever have a strong feeling that actions you are about to take are the right (or wrong) thing to do?

All these perceptions may be everyday clues to your immortality. This audiobook proposes a simply amazing theory - a theory that states that personal death is a scientific impossibility.

Using the latest findings of neurology, quantum physics, and consciousness studies, Anthony Peake suggests that we never die. After listening to this audiobook, you will understand the reason for your life and how you can make it better next time.

Fascinating

A rich in depth look at the nature of death & therefore existence. The duality of the human condition & states of consciousness. Lots of points of reference for further investigation, as well as an interesting exploration of de ja vu.

What I particularly enjoyed is the detail of the brains role in functionality too.

I only wish more of his books were in audiobook format.

For anyone who enjoys the work of Thomas Campbell, Anthony Peake's work is complimentary imo.

More Anthony Peake on Audible is a must!

An amazing journey into the science and theoretical dilemma of life present and life past. Where does our future exist? Does it go beyond the material and flow into another quantum realm? These are the questions that Anthony Peake successfully asks.
A fantastic book from a present day philosopher of NDE and beyond.
More of his works in the Audible form are essential and a must!

Ironically was a book that fit me well.

An informative book that brings many interesting aspects together and explains them clearly. It presents interesting theories and facts. The first few chapters were especially interesting to me that I have came across in various niech articles but learnt so much more.

NDE NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

I've listened to a few of this authors books and other audios similar, they are very binge worthy as there are so many traits within all of us.

Scary. Comforting. Mind opening. Fantastic.

I have just finished listening to it for the first time and I know it’s the first time of many as there is too much to take in for me to get it on the first listen. I have a basic understanding and it has answered questions I have had floating around my head for most of my life. After the initial first few chapters of heavy science it gets easier although the science bit in the beginning needs to be heard first. It will make sense. Fantastic. Mind opening. Comforting. Scary.

You need to listen to the audio

I believe that anyone looking for a deeper understanding or more information that switches between historical teaching, religious text with today quantum physics and Near death experiences should listen to this audio. I loved it although one small section the terminology was a little difficulty to follow.

Enough to last many lifetimes

A wonderful book, with enough ideas & theory to last... perhaps many lifetimes, or at least repeated listening.
God knows I’m not the sharpest tool in the box but I listened without needing to fully understand some ridiculously complex theories and examples plucked from science, psychiatry and the arts.
Congratulations Anthony your overarching theory appears to pull together much of what so many have tried to fully explain. Thank you

Fascinating perspective

This book is exactly what I've been looking for. It attempts to answer the big question backed up by science and references some fundamental discoveries and theories attributed to scientists like Einstein and Bohr. Its filled with stories of NDE's and highlights the possibility of us all having an inner self (or daemon) to guide us. For me I dont think theres quite enough evidence to support the theories but I really admire the author for this in depth analysis and for sharing his wisdom. It really is a fascinating read
