About this listen

In The Labyrinth of Time, Anthony Peake explores the relationship between consciousness and reality, and in the process puts forward an amazing hypothesis that can explain many enigmatic phenomena, including déjà vu, precognition, near-death experience, and altered states. It features a cutting-edge account of modern time theory covering time slips, precognitive dreams, and the elasticity of time during moments of extreme stress, near-death experience, and certain stages of hypnotic trance. The Labyrinth of Time is as compelling and persuasive as Peake's groundbreaking Is There Life After Death? and The Daemon.

Great Discussion of an Interesting Topic

I have just finished listening to this audiobook and I will listen to it again straightaway in order to understand more fully the concepts that Peake has introduced me to. It is a book to *pique* one's interest :)

certainly makes you think

although the author seems to make a few conclusions based on faith, I was left thinking hard about the nature of reality and overall enjoyed the book.

Fascinating.

Good narration by the author. Really like how he brings in science and presents information in a balanced way. Made me think.

Extra-ordinary

The author fantastically explains the difference between perception of time and relativistic time itself. He looks closer at the similarities between people's accounts of unusual events in time. The authors conclusions back up many of the leading theories which could explain anomalies in time, such as Everett's many worlds theory, and the effects of amplified oscillating electric fields, as well as the crossovers between quantum behaviour of matter and the many worlds theory.

It gives me such goosebumps to hear a person argue so well for a reality which is so fundamentally different from what we currently believe, that I begin to wonder if Ive experienced the moment where I've jumped ship to a distant (less likely) timeline of our universe.

I highly reccomend Julian Barbour's: The End of Time, as a prelude to this book. It's good to hear the author acknowledge this work.

Mind Blown

"What is time" ? After reading this book I am none the wiser however, I truly recommend readings this book if this question has ever crossed your mind. The content is not easy at all but the author does an excellent job of explaining all the amassed evidence and theories. Anthony makes frequent use of scientific studies and first hand stories of the many differening ways in which what we perceive as time, has affected so many. For myself, this is a book in which I will be studying for years to come and will do so happily. I highly recommend.
