What I've been looking for!

I’ve read a lot about dieting, and it seems Intermittent fasting is the way to go based on the evidence. I like how this book doesn't promise you the moon—instead, it lays out a path to weight loss that's more about tweaking your lifestyle rather than upending your whole life (small steps!). Hearing real success stories was motivating, showing me that these strategies have worked for real people. If you are curious about intermittent fasting and sick of diet fads, this book is definitely worth listening to.

Great place to start!

Although I am not in my 50's yet, I have been struggling to find a weight loss program that I felt would be sustainable for me in the long run and this book is IT! The author really breaks it all down into palpable bits of information with practical ways of incorporating fasting without feeling like I am starving. I recommend this for anyone who feels like they have already tried it all to no avail. I am excited to finally see some results.

A Wonderful Resource!

Good resource

This book is about eating well to lower your cholesterol. It has many recipes for all meals, including desserts. I like that each recipe shows how hard it is to make, so new cooks, like my son, can see if it might be too difficult. Most recipes need just a few ingredients, which I think is great. There's also a 30-day meal plan, which is really helpful if you find it hard to decide what to eat every day.

Very Informative!

This book provided me with so much good information about fasting at my age; it broke down some common myths that I was concerned about and discussed alternative diets and why they don't work. I appreciated the conversation around hormones and how weight loss is so much more complicated than just calories in, calories out. If you are curious about fasting and are over 50, I highly recommend this book for you!

I got a bunch of easy to do tips and tricks!

As someone who's always been intrigued by intermittent fasting but hesitant to try it due to my love for food and the fear of hunger pangs, "Intermittent Fasting for Women Over 50" provided the guidance and reassurance I needed to take the leap.

I am going through pre-menopause right now and losing weight is an issue. I appreciate the tips in this book that I can use to combat this problem. I really liked the weekly fasting plans from Chapter 6.

The author did a lot of research and has scientifically backed information about intermittent fasting. The narrator's voice is great and I learned a lot. Well done!
