Wonderful dive into the Science of Immunity
Thoroughly enjoyed Immunity: The Science of Staying Well. Such a thorough overview, practical information and answered lots of questions I’ve wondered about regarding immunity. An absolute delight listening to Dr. Macciochi narrate the text, and helpful if you tend to sort of skim the more scientific language! I’ll definitely dip back into the audiobook and have made notes for reference as I listened.

Should be on the syllabus at schools and made into a TV series. Absolutely essential knowledge
I haven’t yet finished listening to this book but I’ve already made many changes in my life – simple changes that will have a major effect on my immunity throughout the rest of my life. The information this book is something that everybody should know.
I downloaded this book because, after having had Covid in March and April, I’m still suffering a few effects now and again. So I decided to find out more about my immune system.
Before reading this book, I already take as much care as I can with my immunity but there are some things in here which I was completely unaware of and which make a huge difference. And these changes are not difficult to make.
Thank you Jenna for this wonderful book I am recommending it to everyone I know

Really informative and easy to follow!
I found this book so useful, I am listening to it again! It clarified so many of my daily wanderings about immunity, nutrition and health. For a busy working mum and a non-scientist, it was easy to follow and it's not overwhelming.

Really informative useful guide to living healthier
This is a nice comprehensive layman’s guide to immunity and I found a lot of trustworthy information and advice in it. It’s balanced and well researched and you are not overloaded with info. Very practical if you want to improve your health your are fed up of conflicting advice online. The narrators voice is pleasant but a bit monotone. I perhaps would have gone for the paper book but if you pop it on 1.2 speed it’s easier to listen to.

A great guide to improving your health
I have decided to take better care of myself and whilst walking many miles I have used this as my soundtrack.
This is brilliantly narrated and informative.
It is a simply guide to understanding your immune system and making small changes to increase your chances of living longer.
I will no doubt listen to it twice just to make sure it sinks in.
I have already made changes and I am feeling to benefits.

Inaccurate information.
The narration was awful. To me, I felt like I was listening to some unenthusiastic government broadcast. The main issue was the chapter on vaccines. Important information is skipped and inaccurate information used instead. For example, she claims vaccinated can’t infect others. It’s been proven many times that they usually do. Also, vaccines are NOT rigorously tested, hence no double blind placebo studies have ever been done. Then only formaldehyde, aluminium and mercury are mentioned as “insignificant “ toxins. Not true, and she neglects to mention the other toxic chemicals such as polysorbate 80. Even before this, she mentions germ theory but doesn’t elaborate on the fact that this is all based on an outdated flawed theory. I can’t trust any more of the book based on those significant flaws and so asked for a refund.
