About this listen

Gen's secret is out. The caravan is in shambles. The Chalaine is wed to the Ha'Ulrich and pregnant with the Holy Child. Dangers abound, the Uyumaak threatening to overtake and destroy the Chalaine and her companions as they desperately try to escape the Shroud Lake Shard. Split from Gen, the Chalaine must find a way to work with her husband before their mutual animosity tears the prophecy apart. Meanwhile Mirelle battles Padra Athan behind the scenes to free the man she loves more than anyone. Gen and his fugitive allies know that even if they escape the shard and the Uyumaak that hunt them, the Ha'Ulrich and Padra Athan will be waiting to destroy them on the other side.

worthwhile listen, most enjoyable

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

you do have to take it as one big book, it is written and read like that. I listened in one after the other and this made it a worthwhile experience

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hunted?

i liked the monster, they are one of the more original parts of these books. You have a number of standard monsters or characters, but some new and inventive bits to

What about Simon Vance’s performance did you like?

I think he is very good, not the best (but it is close), but always a really good solid performance. I enjoy listening to all of his work, this included

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

i listened to the books one after another, and i think this is best, it really is one long book rather than several episodes put together

Any additional comments?

A good strong story, that is well told. If you have read or listened to a lot of this genre, it is not the most original. But it has quite a lot of unique twist that make it worth will and realy good

Not bad, better than a lot of whats out there!

Any additional comments?

Taking all four books together, its not bad at all, its not a patch on the 1st law, or Demon Cycle, but its better than a lot thats out there. Only issue is the fact it is split into four books, is it really worth four credits? No! if this was one book, even two then I would have been much happier, as it is, its a bit off a rip off!
