Summary

You don't date the Coach's daughter. It's the first thing you learn in Hockey 101. Except whoever made that rule had never met Nora Campbell.

She came into my life like the blondest ray of sunshine, and I thought all my dreams had come true. Then I found out who she was.

For two excruciating years I've crushed on her from afar, keeping my distance while she's been working her magic rehabbing my injured teammates.

For two years I've been concentrating on my game; honing my skills, my speed, and my strength to become the best defenseman in the league. It all pays off the day I'm made Captain.

Unfortunately for me, it's the same day an injury forces me to seek help from the one person who definitely shouldn't be putting their hands on me, and the only person I want.

The more time we spend together, the harder it becomes to resist her. And the harder it becomes to remember the one rule I'm supposed to follow above all else.

Because it's the one rule that was made to be broken.

This series has my heart 🫶🏼

I seriously flew through this series! And let me tell you, it does not get the hype that it deserves because every single book is SO GOOD!! 😍

I was so sad when the OG Players retired, but it made way for a whole new group and I loved getting to know the younger guys more! Huck, Brogan and Carter had the best bromance! I loved all of their interactions, especially with Abby. They made their own dysfunctional family but I loved it! 😂

Huck really stepped up from the messer we knew in the previous books. He took on that leadership role and I loved seeing all the younger guys look up to him. He may have hidden from Nora for two years after finding out she was the coach’s daughter, but I really loved when he finally made his move, there was no way he was going to let her go again. He was sweet, hilarious, supportive and downright swoon worthy.

I’ve said it before that I love how all of Lulu’s MMCs have gift giving as a love language, but I think Huck takes the biscuit when he gets Nora the kittens 😂 It was impulsive but so thoughtful, and I loved all their cute scenes!

I loved Nora so much! She was successful in her career, her friendship with Jess was goals and she was so sure of herself. I loved her confidence and that she took no prisoners with the hockey guys. She stood her ground when it came to standing up to her dad, which took major guts, and I loved the loyalty she showed Huck. Their relationship was so mature from the start. After waiting so long, they both knew what they had was worth fighting for and I loved how healthy and good they were about communicating!! 👏🏼

I love when Sports Romance mix with Secret Relationships, throw in the Coach’s Daughter and some amazing Found Family and this book had everything I wanted!

I’m almost finished reading through Lulu’s Backlist now and I’m going to have to just keep rereading them because they make me so happy! 🥰

P.S. Lulu, I really hope Brogan and Carter get their own books because you cannot leave us hanging after that epilogue!! 😍
