About this listen
Beau Eaton is the town prince, a handsome military hero with a tortured past. I’m the outcast bartender, a shy girl from the wrong side of the tracks.
He’s 35 and all man, and I’m 22 and all...virgin.
He’s also my fiancé. Correction: my fake fiancé.
We start out as a bet. He doesn’t believe that anyone holds my last name against me. So he offers me his to prove a point.
It’s win-win. He gets a break from his concerned family’s prying, and I get a chance to shed my family’s reputation while I save up to ditch this small town.
He says all I have to do is wear his ring, follow his lead, and pretend I can’t keep my hands off of him in public.
But it’s what happens between us in private that blurs all those carefully drawn lines.
It’s what transpires behind closed doors that doesn’t feel like pretending at all.
This engagement was supposed to be for show. This agreement? It has an end date.
He once told me he’d never fall in love.
And yet here I am, head over heels for my fake fiancé.

What an ending to this series!
What can I say? Another Elsie Silver audiobook, another story that will stay with me forever! Beau was a conundrum, a mystery. I didn't know exactly how I felt about him and what I expected from his story. What we got was a beautifully written love story that will completely steal your heart. I felt with all my heart for Bailey. Born into a family that ruined her no matter what she did, stuck in a town that could never appreciate her. Beau is stuck in his own mind, not knowing what to do with his life now. They both needed someone to help give them a push. I truly believe Bailey and Beau were made for each other. The way Elise wrote their love story will truly have you believing in that one perfect person for everyone. I loved the banter between these two, along with the usual Eaton family banter that will have you in stitches. Beau and Bailey could be themselves only with each other, and I love that kind of love. What an ending to what has been one of my most cherished series!
This audiobook was the perfect icing on the cake! The final book in the series went out with a bang. Jason Clarke and Angelina Rocca were the absolute perfect Beau and Bailey! I've said this before, and I'll say it again, until you've experienced both reading and listening to Elsie's stories, you have not gotten the full and complete experience of these books! Beautifully done!

The perfect ending to one of my fav series
“I’m struggling.”
She nods. “Trust your struggle, Beau.”
“What does that mean?”
“If we’re struggling, we’re still in motion, yeah? Heading somewhere better. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway.”

There needs to be a place to add the feels rating to a book once you’ve finished it.

I didn’t want Chestnut Springs to be over.
I didn’t want to let go of these characters, and that’s one reason why I’m so grateful that I’m a re reader.
I can go back and laugh with Willa, and cry with Summer, and SCREAM AND RAGE WITH Sloane, and be h**ny with Winter bahahha

I’m so blessed that I got to beta hope•less.
@authorelsiesilver just continues to surpass herself with each book she writes.
Things get deeper, characters get more real.
She is one of those authors who is just SO deeply talented and I’m so grateful to be a part of the journey alongside her.

There was nothing wrong with this narration.
I couldn’t find ONE AINGLE thing I disliked
Not only was the story incredible by Angelina and Jason were incredible as Bailey and Beau!
The characters truly couldn’t have been cast better!!
•
Hope•less is the perfect conclusion to this spectacular series that has made me feel every emotion possible.
And even though I’m sad it’s over, I’m just SO excited for all the amazing things that the future holds for Elsie and the stories she holds in her heart, that’s she shares with us!!
♥️♥️♥️♥️

Beau and Bailey were everything!
This was one of my most anticipated reads this month and Elsie Silver did not disappoint! I loved these characters so much! Beau was by far my favorite and I loved that he got his HEA with Bailey! I’m so sad this is last book in the series, but I’m so excited for what Elsie Silver writes next!
