Memories
This book brought the memory of starting my teaching career back in vivid clarity, the good and bad, the pupils I can recognise. Wonderful times tinged with sadness of pre school curriculum days when it wasn't so rigid

Primary school days
This series of books cover the author’s career in a village Primary School, before the introduction of The National Curriculum. I taught in a Devon village school around that time (1977-1986) so the book brought back so many memories for me from those days. I can’t wait to start the next one in the series.

the narrator is awful
Awful narration!!! the narrator has not done his best work on this at all. hes breathy and very stop start. it just doesnt have the flow his other works has. very disappointing. it distracted away from the story. so frustrating!!
