Summary
I'm not all that special, really. I'm sure there are a lot of girls with old gypsy blood who see the dead, have killer cults hunting their family, and turn into something that gets scary when they panic. Yep. I'm just an ordinary girl. I wish people would believe that.
I've been labeled as one thing or another for most of my life: Death Girl. Crazy Gypsy Girl. Gothic Chick. Monster.
It took my mother's death for me to finally start getting answers about what's really been going on. Unfortunately, most of the answers come from men . . . who aren't just men. Somehow, I've gone and landed myself in a world truly filled with monsters, and I'm starting to think this is where I should have been all along.
Only . . . I don't understand what's going on. I'm walking into the middle of a story that's thousands of years old, and I'm the new girl on the block who doesn't have a clue how this world even works. My only guides happen to be the most lethal of the bunch.
I've gone and drawn attention to myself, and the ones paying attention are the ones everyone else seems to fear. How do these things always happen to me?

Great story and duet narration

Fantastic Story
I've loved every minute of listening to this book. Kristy Cunning is a talented author who writes a really great story, that is read well. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series to see what happens next.

Amazing!!
I absolutely loved this book!! Kristy Cunning is unbelievably talented and I’ve been dying to listen to this book!! The narrators were brilliant too. Waiting for book two is going to kill me. Everyone needs to listen to this book!!

Loved it
Apart from the male narrator the series is great. The female narrator is really wonderful and I love to listen to her. The male narrator speaks in a robotic staccato voice and makes the MMC’s sound like old men in stead of the 28 year olds they are forever to be.

Slow burn reverse harem
Monster love story.
A gypsy girl moves to town and meets monster guys.
Add an insane ghost BFF.
And there you have it.
An entertaining read or listen.
It’s more of part 1 of a really long book rather than a stand alone, you really need to have time for it.

Paranormal Reverse Harem
I’ve had this series a while and I have no idea why I haven’t listened sooner . Violet is new in town she’s taken over from her mother who was murdered but she’s also lying about who and what she is , she also has a ghost tied to her who suffers from lack of brain to mouth filter that caused many a laugh out loud moments.

Hilarious RH with vampires, wolves, etc
Fun and hilarious paranormal romantic comedy.
Overall: Great, already halfway through the next one.
Performance: Maybe not the best, but not jarring or a deal breaker either.
Story: There's an actual plot! In a paranormal romance book!
Good to know:
Slow burn: She doesn't actually sleep with anyone in the first book, but you know she'll end up with at least 4 before the end of the multi-book series.
Trigger warnings: bad language, parental death, ghosts, violence, death of friends with actual personalities
Family Friendly: Don't listen to it with kids in the room. Sex, Bad Language, Violence.
