Summary
Random House presents the audiobook editon of Grease Junkie by Edd China.
'Think fast. Think big. Think the unthinkable!'
As you'll discover in his incomparable memoir, inventor, mechanic, TV presenter and walking tall as the definition of the British eccentric, Edd China sees things differently.
An unstoppable enthusiast from an early age, Edd had 35 ongoing car projects while he was at university, not counting the double-decker bus he was living in. Now he's a man with not only a runaround sofa, but also a road-legal office, shed, bed and bathroom. His first car was a more conventional 1303 Texas yellow Beetle, the start of an ongoing love affair with VW, even though it got him arrested for attempted armed robbery.
A human volcano of ideas and the ingenuity to make them happen, Edd is exhilarating company. Join him on his wild, wheeled adventures; see inside his engineering heroics; go behind the scenes on Wheeler Dealers.
Climb aboard his giant motorised shopping trolley, and let him take you into his parallel universe of possibility.

An entertaining insight
A fair representation of Edd's career so far! Amusing anecdotes, entertaining stories and explanations behind his various antics - as well as a "behind the scenes" look at some of TV's creations; I had no idea Edd was involved! Brilliant, a must read for any Edd fans.

Colourful, amusing & absolutely fascinating ...
Ed is a marvel - his book is absolutely enthralling & takes the reader / listener on a walk through his life, sharing his fascination with anything that moves or automates our daily lives often delving into history to explore the origins of an innovation that particularly captured his imagination. His photographic like memory recalls details of his exploits in so much colourful detail you feel like one of his friends experiencing the event or activity alongside him. I thoroughly enjoyed this masterpiece & Ed is now firmly on my top ten list of people I’d love to meet before I depart this mortal coil.

The man, the myth, the legend.
Loved it. A great insight into the man himself, from youth to the present day and all of the mishaps and victories along the way. Including a great insight that you wouldn't know about just from watching Wheeler Dealers or his YouTube channel.
Would definitely recommend.
