About this listen
The apprenticeship is over—now the real test has begun.
When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder—able to capture and release souls—spreads like wildfire, she faces mistrust and fear in Sitia. What’s more, she keeps discovering new, unusual sides of her abilities. As the Council debates Yelena’s fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before…
The road to Ixia is fraught with peril, and sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills. But the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Along the way, she’ll encounter allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty, and be forced to confront an impossible choice as whispers of war emerge.
Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself—and save the lands she holds dear.

Epic fantasy at its best
Book 3 really deepens relationships within this story of Valek and Yelena. It's action packed, heart breaking and laugh out loud fun for readers of young adult age and above. Maria has such a skill for creating rich worlds, complex characters and gripping storylines. If you're looking for your next fantasy obsession, this is it!
Also kudos to Kristin Atherton for her narration, for bringing Yelena and all the characters to life for us. She does a superb job on this series, creating unique and lovable voices for our favourite characters

theres no story in this. goes on and on
I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series. this one just goes on without any story. The characters just gets captured and released and captured and released. I really couldnt bring myself to listen through it. its just so boring. I wouldnt continue wasting time on this further.
