Summary

Orphaned in a brutal attack as a young child, Calista grew up raised by hunters. In her twenty-one years, she's learned how to take down almost any kind of supernatural creature that steps outside of the agreed-upon rules, but there's only one kind of creature she hates: the ones who destroyed her family.

As Alpha of the biggest wolf pack in the area, Vaughan can't wait any longer for his mate. He'll have to take a chosen mate to keep his pack safe, but all his good intentions are blown apart when he comes face-to-face with the young hunter and realizes that fate has other plans.

Lies

Calista suffered a trauma as a young girl taken away from her family and raised as a hunter of supernatural beings. Vaughn is the alpha of the pack and a series of murders ate being blamed on them. Calista and Vaughan work together to find out who's killing innocent families and during this investigation many truths about Calista will be revealed, Loved this book I'm a big fan of shifter romances and this one did not disappoint.

Great story and narration

I love this story that’s a bit different than the usual werewolf story but in a good way. The narrators bring this story to life with emotion and great storytelling. Just go ahead and listen to it!

mystery and romance

I Loved listening to this book.
Melody Tyden is a new author to me so this was my first book by her and I was very impressed,I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There is so much going on in this story, but it is easy to follow and I found myself easily lost in the mystery and romance of it.
Calista is a hunter of Supernatural beings, when she was 5 years old her family was killed by werewolves, and she was adopted by a couple of hunters..Who ineviatbly brought her up to hunt too,and Calista had a dislike of wolves after what happened to her family.
When a spate of murders take place were humans are slaughtered in their homes,it is suspected that the culprits are werewolves. So Calista and her parents go on a mission to find out,and solve the murders and investigate the werewolf pack living nearby.
Well Calista is caught spying on the pack and taken to meet the Alpha...and this is were EVERYTHING changes for both Calista and Alpha Vaughan.
Vaughan has been feeling the pressure of being an Alpha and to take a mate,he longed to find his fated mate..But after 9 years of nothing he decides to just choose a fated mate instead, from another pack and in doing so making an alliance with that pack.
Amanda was the daughter of an Alpha to a pack Vaughan needed to make peace with it seemed like a win for him until he meets Calista.
As soon as Vaughan sees Calista he knows that she is his fated mate..but there was one problem Calista was human so why did he feel such a strong connection to her.
He decides to work with Calista to find the murderers of the humans and exonerate his pack of the killings.
They become close and get to know one another and Calista realises that werewolves arent as bad as she was led to believe.
But in this story NOTHING is what it seems and there are quite a few twists and turns, some I never guessed and I found it an exciting story.
I loved Vaughan and Calista and also the members of the pack I can't wait for their stories hopefully..I liked Melody Tyden's writing and really enjoyed the narration to this book.
Scott Rose and Andi Eloise do an EXCELLENT job at telling this story,I was captivated by their voices and they were so easy to listen to,and are amazing story tellers.
Fated To The Enemy is a very addictive read or listen and people who love alot of paranormal along with their romance will love this steamy slow burn story.
I loved it and will definately be listening to more books by Melody Tyden.
Brilliant 5 Stars.
