Not quite what I was expecting
Some interesting bits though overall it felt drawn out. Perhaps a better listen for someone who knows very little or nothing at all about the franchise. Some of the special effects seemed to be trying too hard. Finished listening though there were a few thoughts to abandon it early on.

ENCHANTING!
I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish and I hoped it would last longer! What an amazing insight into this film (I haven’t actually seen it but now I’m going to) It was just enchanting and I loved the documentary elements.

Fantastic
Great look/listen at the making this film. Loved Jacobs narrative bringing this to life I had read other reviews saying this audiobook was not so great! But I've thoroughly enjoyed it and will listen again

Magic of the behind the scenes
I love and will always love these kind of book-documentaries and especially when they are so greatly told and presented. I knew what I was getting myself into and I enjoyed every second of it. Loved the way Dan Fogler read it - it was so fun and entertaining, and how the cast and crew where involved in it, as well. It made me appreciate the work done behind the scenes so much more - it is awe-inspiring, especially considering all of the work prop masters, costume designers etc. There are so many geniuses working for the movie to be made for the audiences to see on the cinema screen - that I personally wanted to pay respect to them and say a big "thank you" for their craftswork! And for me - listening to this audio-book - it was just that! THANK YOU! :)
P.s. Please do not take it personally, but I really do not understand the people who thought it was the actual screenplay of the movie (I guess there are people going in blindly without reading the summary, yet the risk did not pay off?).

Brilliant!!
I love this, it’s is really interesting and it makes me want to work on a movie set!!
The people who put one star should have read the description properly, it clearly states it is the making of the movie, not the book of the movie or the screenplay.
I listen to this on repeat it is amazing finding out about the real magic of the movie, hoe they make the sets and going in depth into the different personalities of the characters. Dan Fogler reads it brilliantly, I wish he narrated other audiobooks!!
I would really recommend this for HP fans!!!

Fantastic glance behind the scenes.
I admit, this was my first dip into this world. I only downloaded it after seeing the trailer in the cinema. I don’t watch TV, so it’s very existence completely bypassed me. (I do, in fact, live under a rock) Once I realised that there is a first part, I paused listening and bought the movie on iTunes. That was me hooked. I have watched it twice since and being familiar with the characters made this book a joy to listen to. Fabulously told by the winsome Jacob himself. This book really shows just how much incredible work and the immense detail goes into such a phenomenal production. If you, like me, have a life for what goes on behind the scenes, this book is for you.

A companion to the film with the great Dan Fogler
I saw the film yesterday and now Im half-way through listening to this. I knew this was going to be a documentary not a book (JK Rowling has said there won't be any books of the fantastic beasts films). I was pleasantly surprised when i listened to it. It could easily have been just marketing exercise for the film. There is a lot of info i already knew / have seen before - but the narration and music and the way its put together so you tour different film departments make it fun. If you have just a casual interest in Harry Potter then this might not be that interesting. For me I like spending time in this world, and this gave me more information on parts of the storyline (Nagini).
Not perfect but enjoyable!

stupid voices
Dan Fogler would have been fine if he had not put on stupid voices, they were just annoying.
