Summary
As women disappear from the city streets, a blood-curdling discovery is made in a Glasgow cemetery. Easy Kill is the fifth novel in Lin Anderson's forensic crime series featuring Rhona MacLeod.
'One of the most satisfying characters in modern crime fiction' – Daily Mail
A vulnerable young woman has been brutally slain and left on a grave in Glasgow’s sprawling cemetery, the Necropolis. Upon examining the body, forensic scientist Rhona MacLeod has no doubt that the depraved killer’s motives were sexual in nature.
The case takes on an even more disturbing dimension when the removal of the girl’s body reveals a second victim, who has recently been buried in a shallow grave underneath. When yet another sex worker is reported missing, there are fears that a serial killer is at large in the city.
This man has killed before – and will again unless Rhona can break the chain and track him down before any more lives are lost . . .
'Vivid and atmospheric, with an enthralling chase' – The Guardian
'The best Scottish crime series since Rebus' – Daily Record
Easy Kill is the fifth book in the Rhona MacLeod series by Lin Anderson. It is followed by Final Cut.
Perfect for fans of Ian Rankin, Martina Cole and Silent Witness.

Another BRILLIANT novel from Lin Anderson
I cannot recommend Lin Anderson's novels highly enough, I have read nearly all of them (not got the latest yet but it's on my list) and listened to them, some more than once. In my opinion Ms Anderson has never produced anything but exceptional work, her plots are always gripping, her characters and their back stories are fully formed. Dr Rhona Macleod and the rest of the team are charismatic but realistic in that they have imperfections. Finally a word for the exceptional voice talents of Sally Armstrong who brings Rhona and Co to life in all 16 books, she is in my humble opinion one of the top narrators available and is brilliant at male and female voices.

best one yet!
Ans so the love trysts continued. Great book, much better than the previous ones, going to download the next one now as I can't wait to see what happens next in Rhona's love life.

Gripping & tautly plotted with beautiful narration
What a great tale: compelling, swift moving and clearly drawn characters. Gruesome and nasty in some places, yet lovely and lyrical in others. Shifting between well-coloured settings and continuing the characters and interactions from previous books while adding new ones to the mix.
And a great voice actor narrating. Each character has their own voice, consistently and convincingly.
I've bought the next three titles. You'll enjoy if you like Steve McBride or J D Kirk.
