Summary

Lucas used to delve dungeons. Now, he has to run one.

After Lucas dies during a freak explosion, divine intervention sees him brought back to life with the power to control a new dungeon.

There are just a couple of issues: his old body is bound to his dungeon, and the craziness of what he thought was his final act is only getting weirder. When he sees newbie adventurers entering his dungeon, though, he decides to help them survive and complete their quests.

After all, adventuring is a process, and someone needs to guide the rookies.

Loved this Book!

Well written and well read. Although the book is set in a dungeon you get the feeling of a wide world and the story is much better than most if not all dungeon litRPGs.
Eagerly awaiting the next book in the series!

Great twist on the genre!

Really enjoyed a different perspective on the usual dungeon core litRPG.

Enjoyable book

Near the end the story, the story speeds up which made it a bit vague

The story is a nice change of pace. The writing is well done, and narration is brilliant.

Some erratic pacing but quite compelling!

The beginning in particular of this book goes a mile a minute, introducing characters and concepts like a plot summary of several entire chapters compressed, but then it cools off and gives the characters much more time to breath. With a lot of grueling combat and heartfelt character moments, as well as a lot of insight into the protagonist's thought processes, this is a very compelling little twist on the genre and I look forward to listening to more in the future.

Enjoyable take on a dungeon MC

I would say that mechanically this is a worse version of the Divine Dungeon Series, the way the character learns about his abilities and what he eventually does with them are ultimately inferior to DD, however, it makes up for that with fun characters, a more upbeat plot and generally more humour. so I would not call this book worse than Divine Dungeon, just a different take on the same idea. if you want some classic d&d stuff in the setting and style, where the writer clearly dm's a lot this is your best bet. but if you want something more unique with much more serious undertones and a less defined main character DD is better for you. personally I'm glad I read both because both are good. can't wait for the 3rd instalment.
