Insightful piece of work Recommended
I came to this title with open eyes and was not disappointed wether you agree or not with the politics this is both honest and thoughtful and showing a side to Mr Obama not yet seen
It’s interesting hearing the man himself telling his own beginnings and up to his state senator position
I happily recommend this title to one and all

Inspirational
Inspirational story and telling of it, though I was able to follow it at 0,80 speed only. We would need many Barack Obamas to be our politicians all over the world.

Adventurous story of untangling own history
As milenial I can't imagine how is it to have to discover own past through few continents.
Wonderfully narrated with story full of old times, challenges and honor.

Not particularly exciting...
Not exactly gripping, but with the aftersight of Obama becoming the president, it is nothing less than incredible!
After learning his background of coming from half African and half single mum-he certainly has achieved some lage tasks, at also a relatively young age.

Listened to this inspirational book from this beautiful dignified intelligent man, unfortunately at the time in the UK when we are faced with the prospect of having Boris Johnson as our prime minister. God help us

Audacious in Every Way
Listening to the historical figure that is Barack Hussein Obama is like watching a sunrise from its very beginning. His voice booms like a trumpet and his writing style is infectious.
I highly rate this book. l resonate deeply with his story.

Excellent insight
Read by himself, this account of Obama'a life opened up issues which you don't realise when you see him in his official capacity e.g. the huge importance of racism in his life. It was a bit long winded in places but his trip to Kenya to find his Dad's birthplace and relatives was memorable.
