About this listen
Loyalty is the deadliest sin
Everything has been one elaborate lie. My name. My identity. My entire existence. Brody Harcourt exposed me as a fraud, turning me from a queen into a pariah. Now there will be hell to pay.
But I'm back for more than revenge.
More than blood. My eye is on the prize.
The Carrera throne. I'll win the kingpin's trust at any cost…even if it means crossing enemy lines alongside Houston's political pin-up boy. But things don't always go as planned.
Sometimes a queen has to steal her crown. And the one man she can never have…becomes the only one she wants.

Dark Mafia Romance
Drawn Blue Lines by Cora Kenborn is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson.
This is the third book in the Carrera Cartel Trilogy and each book can be read as standalone. However, for maximum enjoyment, it's recommended that you read them in order.
I absolutely love Cora's books! I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adriana and Brody. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Stacy and Alan did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend his book to anyone who loves mafia/cartel romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, or romantic suspense.

Wonderful Mafia - Enemies-Lovers Romance
Drawn Blue Lines, was a very enjoyable listen that kept me on my toes while listening. A captivating story that is intense, suspenseful, full of mystery, and unpredictable plot twists.
Adriana is a mafia princess and Brody is a former DA - now the second lieutenant of the Carrera Cartel. An enemies-to-lovers relationship with a touch of forced proximity when they are forced to work together. A very toxic situation at first but they had some hot and steamy chemistry between them! I have enjoyed Cora Kenborn's writing style and look forward to reading more from her!

Cora...my new addiction!
Cora Kenborn is my new addiction. I found her earlier this year, and each book I hear from her just increases my appetite for her stories! This series is fantastic. Each book stands alone, but I have to say that reading them in order is the way to go. There is some history that enlightens you to all the characters, increasing the love of the story. This one features Brody and Adriana. We have met Brody previously. Leighton's brother and the ADA, he is on the right side of the law. So what made him switch sides and find himself entrenched in the Carrera Cartel? Life is not going as planned, things are falling apart when Adriana barrels in, full force. Adriana is seeking revenge, All her life a sham, she is ready to seek her justice and Brody is one who needs to feel it. But emotions and reveals make the lines blurred, danger, deceit and treachery in abundance creates muddy waters. What will she find out and where will she end up? This love/hate relationship between Adriana and Brody is smoking hot! The two are broken, their feelings just and Kenborn weaves a web we enjoy untangling. It's high suspense, high heat and all about love and family. A fantastic conclusion to this trilogy and an enjoyable listen.
Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson portray our heroes with a wonderful performance. Gonzalez gives us the spunky, strong willed Adriana, holding nothing back. She makes her real, vulnerable, and at times infuriating! Carlson is becoming a favorite of mine and I loved him as Brody. He lets us feel his conflict as he finds his way in the cartel, and his growing love for Adriana. It's a great narration!

5 Stars
I received this audiobook via a promo code at my request and this is my voluntary review.
This is the third book in the series, each CAN be enjoyed as a standalone but it definitely adds depth if you follow the series order to understand the significance of Brody and Adrianas link to one another. In the true rule of all third installments of a trilogy, a great story always circles back to the beginning and makes you question everything you thought you knew.
Brody Harcort is screwed... his boss has just found out that he's been making deals outside of cartel business and someone is stealing their shipments
24 years ago, Marisol Munos was forged to become the destruction of the Carrera Cartel, safe in the background, passing around her orders like a general, she was used to playing the game of survival amongst men who were more like animals. She had been plotting revenge for the death of her brother Manuel until Brody makes a move that leaves her completely exposed... as Adriana Carrera, the supposedly dead sibling of her enemy and then she's on the run from her own Cartel. Now firmly labelled as one of the enemy, she has no choice but to use the only power move she has left.. embracing her true name and reclaiming her place at Valentins side and unmask the hands running her former empire before the wolves nipping at her heels and she doesn't escape this time.
As mention before.... Brody Harcort is *definitely* screwed... Those deals outside of cartel business mean he's deep in the hole and his Cartel boss has found out, the only hope he has got to save his gringo ass, is to travel to Mexico on a near suicide mission with his bosses newly resurrected sister and uncover all the secrets of the man whose name she still refuses to share. He has to accept that he's as dirty as his corrupt Politian mother in the end., He knows he's got enough blood on his hands now that he'll never be innocent no matter how many hustles he makes.... and that he cant keep those hands off the woman he shouldn't trust as far as he could toss her around his bedroom.
I absolutely loved the narration, the performance for Adriana in particular was fantastic.

Carrara Cartel book 3
Wow this one was a roller coaster ride of emotions. Lots of twists and turns that kept my attention right through the audiobook. Cora Kenborn is amazing at writing suspenseful stories and the narration of this one was amazing.
Stacy Gonzalez of course has the Spanish accent to carry off Adrianna’s strong willed attitude and her smouldering hot scenes with Brody. At times I wished I could I understand Spanish 🤓. Alan’s performance as Brody was really realistic, and I was happy to hear Brody’s story and hear more of what made him go from being the ADA to a kingpin in the Carrera Cartel and how he ruthlessly defends Adrianna, Alan Carlson was awesome as Brody. This was another amazing audiobook in this series and I loved Cora’s cartel world.
