Perfect Primer for Managers and for Students

Author did a wonderful job of capturing the key financial components needed for decision making for both managers and entrepreneurs. I will use this book as a reference guide as well. ~mdbii

It really tied up

It was a great overview of Corporate Finance, and it really tied up some loose ends for me after working in credit risk for some time.

The course is exceptionally good for beginners who do not have any background on finance. Here every corporate finance term is explained in detail, with clear and concise article style description.

Also, W.Bahl teaches very well. I definitely recommend his courses.

Non-finance/Accounting

I purchased this book to help me explain F&A fundamentals to non-finance/accounting staff in our sales and operations departments. I loved the book so much that I'm going to recommend we purchase this book for several of our employees. I'm also going to gift a copy for my college-age son who is studying engineering & computer science. The sooner he learns about F&A the better.

Lots of real-world applications

This is my first audiobook on Corporate Finance. I found it to be informative and useful as an introductory course. I have found here lots of real-world applications/examples to reinforce the theory/concepts expressed. And also covers corporate finance, investment as well as economics and added retirement, trading, and accounting terms.

Aadded Glossary!

The subject was easy to learn (the basics) and to follow, I think that there is so many different thoughts and terms are greatly explained, and also added a Glossary of some financial terminology utilized for describing certain topics and sub-topics. So in one word, the course is well prepared.

Impenetrable to listen to

While the content is quite good I think, the narrator has made no effort to understand the material,so it’s one monotonous drone of quite difficult content and I struggled because I couldn’t use the tone to grasp the meaning of each sentence. The narrator is clearly American but often surprisingly puts the emphasis on the wrong word. For example if he read “this is needed for the company to buy it” he might put the emphasis on the “it” at the end, so your brain is constantly reverse-engineering this book to see where the emphasis actually is and therefore what each sentence is trying to say
