Summary
Free yourself from limiting behaviors and connect with the truth of love....
Are you sick and tired of opening up your heart only for everything to come crashing down again, exactly as it always has in the past?
Do you feel like most of your relationships drain your energy and leave you feeling depleted and exhausted?
Is your partner always full of energy and life, and although this fills you with joy, you can’t help but still feel some kind of emptiness inside?
Sadly, the behavior patterns we’ve learned and brought into our relationships aren’t always healthy, but we often have no way of knowing this.
Your parents may have been in a toxic relationship, or perhaps you’ve sought advice from your friends or other family members and are bringing that energy with you into your pursuits.
Either way, if any of the above sounds familiar, chances are quite high that you’ve fallen into an emotionally codependent relationship, and this is why everything keeps leading you astray.
As a naturally caring and empathetic person, it can be hard to understand where your boundaries need to be set in order to maintain your own wellbeing. Doing so doesn’t mean you have to cut other people out of your life, but it does mean that a more heightened focus may be necessary.
You can free yourself of all this worrisome burden and ensure that your next relationship is one of mutual support and admiration.
In fact, with the right tools, techniques, and emotional awareness, you can ensure that you never end up in one of these situations again.
In Codependency (The Need to Feel Needed), you’ll discover:
- The top six signs of codependency, and how to know if they’re happening to you
- Well-rounded insight into understanding the “victim mentality” and how you can free yourself from its grip
- How you can flip the script and begin to take positive action toward your self-love
- Why forgiveness will set you free, and how you can learn to do this with anyone, no matter what has happened in the past
- A play-by-play guide to building self-awareness and establishing healthy boundaries
- How to know your personality style and why this will help you understand your partner better
- How mindfulness can help you become less judgmental, as well as how to use this to enhance all of your interactions with others
- And so much more
Every relationship you enter doesn’t have to be like the rest. Just because the past has always been the same, this doesn’t mean you can’t change the future.
Freedom from your codependent tendencies is possible, and no, it’s not going to require years of effort and a ridiculous amount of money spent on therapists or personal growth courses.
With the right awareness and a bit of focus, your next relationship could very well become the best relationship of your life.

Great Key take-a-ways
This book definitely unveiled a disease I had without even knowing. It does a great job at reinforcing what mindfulness can do for you. It also teaches an in-depth approach to selfcare and how/why to set personal boundaries and be just fine with it.
I strongly recommend this book. Good job J.C.

A much needed book. Loved it
I just wanted to start this off by saying i really really enjoyed but more so needed this book. This was such a helpful guide, which was clear and concise, very straight forward and extremely informative about codependency the definition, expressing, and illustrating which in which it can manifest. The author did amazing ways he shares his thoughts on the topic, which was extremely helpful. One of my favorites chapters was the chapter on self-care, I love how detailed it was, it felt very relatable and I felt like the author really cared for my well-being which is always a bonus when your reading books of this nature.
I also love the fact that the book is so well researched, going over 6 of the top signs that you might be suffering from codependency. I also appreciated the chapter about getting to know your partner better, this was something I have been meaning to get better at. This book provided me with enough value that i know feel empowered, and confident that i can navigate my way over these hurdles.

Practical and Healing!
Ever since I was young, I suffered from separation anxiety, whether from my parents or immediate caregivers. As an adult, this tendency transferred to romantic partners and friendships, and I always recognized it as something that was unhealthy for me. I would receive comments, and recently, with my downtime during COVID figured I would do what I can to pull myself out of this issue.
I found Codependency (The Need to Feel Needed) in the audible store, and thought I would see if it could help me. I couldn't be happier that I did! This book helps you resolve feelings of codependency by helping you address the source of the problem, and helping you heal those difficult points of pain.
The narrator is engaging and reassuring, and the content progresses systematically and understandably. If you are suffering from issues of codependency, would definitely suggest giving this one a listen.

Well written book How to try to Leave Copedency
I never knew I will find this kind of book which explains and helps people in this subject, usually, people go to therapy to solve the problem but with this book, I think you don't need to spend on therapist money. This Copedency happened a lot of time with my ex-girlfriends and I feel like now as well. Especially if the couple is young. They just depend on each other and after a while one of them can not make decisions by themselve. They have to wait for the other to decide which way to go. This books going to explain to you properly what is Copedency, and how to exit the cycle of it. Really proper guide for your life how to stand up for yourself and build a strong personality like that you going to have confidence in every situation of life or relationship and you can stand up for yourself.

Breaking the Cycle
This book helps the reader understand and recognise the traits of co-dependency because many people may be in this cycle without even knowing. The range of advice is very helpful for those who need a bit of space from people they consider they are dependent on. I recommend this book!
