What an EPIC Adventure!
I Laughed out loud so many times while reading along to the unabridged narrative, such a joy to hear you both and be a part of this journey. I adore Scotland, yes long before Outlander came along although I have read all of the books, it is the story in the land it's self that captured me, the story set in the stone. That sense of being overwhelmed and caught at the throat with emotion and tears happened to me the first time I visited Culloden and so too in the Scottish Borders. Sam is a rascal who loves mischief and pranks, had it been me I might have clipped him around the noggin a time or two. Now to be sure I can't wait for Men in Kilts to hit the screens.

Two amazing Scottish storytellers
The best non-fiction audio book I have experienced. The wit and banter between Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish will have you laughing out loud. Informative for all those interested in Scotland, it's Clans and history, all rounded out with a bit of whisky tasty, actually a lot of whiskey tasting. Absolutely a brilliant must listen.

Both Sam and Graham are hilarious
I've purchased the audio version to go alongside the book which made the whole journey/ experience more enjoyable. Sam and Graham are hilarious, they made me chuckle lots, teasing each other, still, they have a lovely amicable chemistry which you can sense.
This book includes their own stories and background, interesting!
The historical part, is my favourite. Jingling between the clans, their feuds, castles, battles and dualchas, made me feel like I want to go to Scotland right away.
I have not read YET Diana Gabaldon's novels, however; cannot wait to do so. Please watch Outlander before reading this book hehehhehehhe
Super excited to watch Men in Kilts :)

Clanlands is a really enjoyable book!
Loved it. I tried to listen to every free moment. And I really enjoyed both the narrative Graham and Sam gave and the stories of their experiences and history. I can't wait for the follow-up to these stories and maybe the next trip around Scotland. Thank you Sam and Graham!

Enjoyable adventure - part learning, part calamity
I started reading the physical book, but it occurred to me that, with all the Scottish words, names, and places, that I would enjoy it my hearing it with proper Scottish accents. Definitely a good call.
I really enjoyed the mix between learning about the culture (I have Scottish heritage, though generations back, and feel strongly drawn to learn more about that part of who I am), and the evolution of the relationship between Sam and Graham (with a dash of Lacroix).
I'll definitely be glad to have the boys read to me again in the future.

hilarious
a great story and really funny banter between the guys. I liked how they jumped in and out of personal stories, history and the tasks they were undertaking. A fun read. Think I'll try and watch the show now.
