I am moved!
I think this is my favourite book by far. Francesca's storyline was written with the right amount of fun, love, pain, poignant, and faith. perfect example of 'time heals all wound' or 'finding love' again.'
I am so moved by her longing to bear a child - I made me cry. I felt for her. I felt her pain.
To this end, I think I will stop watching the Netflix series because this storyline is written beautifully, and I was it to stay that way.

Okay
The story started really well but became tedious towards the end, especially the parts where Francesca kept resisting Michael's marriage proposal when she was already compromised. Too many chapters were dedicated to this, should have been less. Otherwise, it was a good story.

One of the better ones
I’ve found the Bridgerton series a bit hit and miss but for me this was definitely one of the better ones. A good depiction of the issues that can crop up around conception. And I was actually able to stay interested in the romantic story arc.

Good listen
I didn't think that this book was going to be that good , but it was awesome. It became quite addictive. The narrator suited the book. Will read another Bridgerton.

An unusual regency romance
An unusual take on the regency romance, it does feel a little dragged out, plenty of bodice ripping for those who love it. We haven’t had much interaction with Francesca in previous novels which doesn’t help this story.
Not as great as the first 4, but considering there are 8, Quinn has to change it up a bit, we’re not going to love every one.
