About this listen
It began with betrayal.
And ended in murder.
She was never supposed to cross my path.
She was never supposed to know about the Currency of Secrets or the Oaths of Blood.
But like a thief in the night, she stole my soul even if she wasn't mine to possess.
As a member of the Elite, I live by simple tenets. A gentleman above all. Private matters stay private. Secrets whispered are never revealed. Enemies and friends are of the same coin. And power is king.
My so-called brothers killed my friend. I intend to make them pay. And before it's over, I'll bend all the rules of morality, decency, and legality. I will borrow and steal to set the scales right. But begging - begging, you can forget about.
My name is Ben Covington and I know my sins.

Scorching hot!
Ben and Olivia's story kept me hooked from start to finish, so much so that I listened to the entire book in one day it was that good. Nana's storytelling is exemplary and with all the twists and turns, the build up of their sizzling sexual tension, the relationship and banter between all of Ben's friends and the overall intrigue, there is so much to get your teeth into.
I won't be giving anything away apart from it is a cliffhanger which I usually avoid. However, the next instalment (The Benefactor) is ready and waiting for me so I'm happy. The narration is on point for both characters, but particularly by Shane East who has the sexiest, gravelly tone to his voice which is just right for Ben. I definitely recommend this audiobook, you will not be disappointed.

A fantastic start to this trilogy
Big Ben
I loved, loved, loved Big Ben.
This is my first Nana Malone book and wow, what a book to start with. I am loving it. I was laughing out loud in the first chapter. There are many laugh of loud moments, but equally as much suspense. The sexual tension is off the charts, and I love that it built throughout the story. I couldn’t listen fast enough, I kept sneaking off to find time alone just so I could keep listening. I have so many questions, I’m intrigued by some of the other characters and what is going to happen next. Mama’s writing is captivating, and she has created a world that I cannot wait to spend more time in.
For me, the Britishness was done really well, I’m really picky but it didn’t feel over done with the exception of one word, but I think that is more a personal taste thing than anything else.
It’s performed by Shane East and Mari. Shane East was his delectable self. Everything you’ve come to know and love about his performances are showcased in this production. There is a reason he’s dubbed as the aural king of all things British. He is Ben Covington, he plays the rich, flirty, cocky gent so well. Mari is new to me, and I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. She has a nice tone and delivered the emotions of the character wonderfully. I think having to not only use an accent but voice the opposite sex at the same time can be difficult (I know I couldn’t do it) so there were some instances were I thought a duet narration might have worked better but overall it was well done. Generally, their voices complemented each other and it was a solid performance.
This is the start of a trilogy, so I'm kicking myself a little as I didn’t realise that when I pressed play, even though it’s listed as sure on the product page...parent brain strikes again. Once I found out, I was too hooked to stop and wait for the others to release. Anything that can hook me this much is worth the wait for the ending.
A must listen. If you haven't used a credit on this baby yet, do it! Or, if you already own the eBook, it has whispersynced.

Loved it!
I really loved this book! The story was interesting and kept my attention from beginning to end. At times, I thought the heroine was pretty dumb. I can't use the word naive to describe her when everything was so obvious. The hero was cool and suave. The narrators were great. They did a wonderful job with the various characters. Sometimes, with other audio books I will complain slightly when the female narrator tries to do male characters and the male does female characters. The narrators in this book did a fantastic job with the opposite sex as well as the accent changes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've enjoyed it so much that although I just finished this book I am going to immediately begin the next in the series. I hope it doesn't keep me up too late. :)

Great!
Nana Malone is a new to me author. Where has she been all of my life? I cannot wait to dig into the rest of her catalog.
Big Ben is the exciting first part of a trilogy. Narrated by Shane East and Mari. As usual Shane East was fantastic and elevated an already fantastic story. Mari was amazing as well. For me, she was the best part. Her portrayal of Olivia who has so many different sides to her was on point. Strong, sexy, boring, exciting, confident, insecure, ambitious, content. All of these are parts to this layered character Nana Moaone wrote that Mari absolutely brought to life. This is a great example of why I like audiobooks. When it is performed by a true voice actor and not just someone reading a book to you, it adds so much.
As far as the story goes, i'm loving it so far. The way Ben and Olivia met my accident when they were both hiding from something is both exciting and hilarious. So far there are so many good guys and bad guys and guys you can't tell if they are good are bad yet.
I absolutely recommend this book and suggest that it is 100% worth a credit or buying outright.

Cliffhanger Alert!!
There was more to this book than I first thought, with it's many interconnections... I was most definitely hooked until the end... Then shouted “no way!” and got straight on with the next book!
Narration way good... but even though beautiful, I just didn't feel the female voice suited the character.

I Enjoyed it
Big Ben is the 1st book in the See No Evil Trilogy and it's my first Nana Malone novel. Filled with drama, action, mystery and suspense, the story held my interest and I was hooked until the end. Ben and Olivia were two likable characters and I loved the progression of their relationship from strangers to friends to lovers. The secondary characters added another level to the story and provided support and balance to our main couple. The plot was gripping and as we get more engrossed in this story, the intrigue and danger became more prominent. Mysterious, humorous, exciting and tension filled, this novel ended in a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next book to see what happens. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to all lovers of romantic suspense.
The audiobook version was narrated by Shane East and Mari. They did an excellent job bringing the story to life. The accents, the emotions, the personalities were all spot on and they complimented each other perfectly. I enjoyed listening to them narrate this novel.

Fantastic
This was absolutely fantastic. The characters are so compelling and interesting. I will definitely warn you though don’t start this one before bed as it is nearly impossible to put down. It’s fun and full of suspense and enough chemistry that I highly recommend head phones
