fed up

story line good but got so fed up with narrative keep saying him or her when he was speaking of the opposite person he would say when speaking about nancy ( he ) and when he was speaking about jack (she) not all the time but occasionally so it made me do a retake to understand what he was on about got really annoying at times

Getting better at story telling

Would you consider the audio edition of Beneath the Ashes to be better than the print version?

This is my second Jane Isaac's and I liked it. I have not read the printed version but the audible version was worth the money

What about Tim Bruce’s performance did you like?

Yes. I thought Tim's subtle use of inflection for some of the characters was useful

Any additional comments?

Jane has got a better handle on her prime character and it shows. The descriptions are clearer and there's just the right balance between information and imagination
