Summary
When Brian Foley is charged with the murder of his next-door neighbour, the fastidious Arthur Cranham, it seems the case against the blustering showman is cut and dried: prints, DNA, CCTV footage - there can't be any doubt. After all - Brian and Arthur have famously been at war for years. But Jack and Sarah are convinced that the police have it wrong. With time running out, can they prove Brian's innocence and find the real killer?
Set in the sleepy English village of Cherringham, the detective series brings together an unlikely sleuthing duo: English web designer Sarah and American ex-cop Jack. Thrilling and deadly - but with a spot of tea - it's like Rosamunde Pilcher meets Inspector Barnaby.
Co-authors Neil Richards (based in the UK) and Matthew Costello (based in the US), have been writing together since the mid-90s, creating innovative content and working on major projects for the BBC, Disney Channel, Sony, ABC, Eidos, and Nintendo to name but a few. Their transatlantic collaboration has underpinned scores of TV drama scripts, computer games, radio shows, and the best-selling mystery series Cherringham. Their latest series project is called Mydworth Mysteries.
The narrator of the audiobook, Neil Dudgeon, has been in many British television programmes including the roles of 'DCI John Barnaby' in 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Jim Riley' in 'The Life of Riley'. He is also known for his film roles in 'The Nativity', 'Sorted' and 'Son of Rambow'. In 2012 Dudgeon starred as 'Norman Birkett' on BBC Radio 4's Afternoon Play series written by Caroline and David Stafford.

Another excellent Cherringham tale
Love these stories and Neil Dudgeon's excellent narration makes them sing. Can't recommend the series highly enough ☺️

Excellent as Ever
Another great short crime fiction story from the Cherringham series. Two neighbours at war, when one dies under mysterious circumstances, surely the culprit is obvious, or is it?

Perfect

enjoyable as always.

Another thrilling story!
I really enjoy these stories. Neil Dudgeon brings them to life just perfectly! I'd love it if the brilliant writers would write a really long story! a good 30 hours one will do! ha :)

Well worth the wait
Loved it, as per usual. Sad I have to wait for the next. Brilliant story which I enjoyed working the murder out along with the characters and Neil did his fantastic narration.
