Summary

An unexpected gift is usually a good thing, but this particular gift will cause havoc, destroy lives, and eventually lead to murder.

Teenager Teresa Walsh has problems. Feeling lost and alone, and unable to speak to her mother, she seeks help from a trusted source, but that makes matters worse...and then she disappears.

Bridget Bearing is on a mission, she wants to find out what happened to Teresa, and contrives a plan to enlist the assistance of her daughter and granddaughter. What they discover takes them on quite a different investigation, and the three women find themselves in danger from an unexpected quarter.

An Unexpected Gift is the captivating second book in the Bearing Witness series, a collection of exciting thrillers. If you like surprising twists, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and a touch of the unusual, then you'll love MK Turner's fast-paced mystery.

Unexpected gift

This is a great second book in this series by Marcia Turner. Angies Psychic abilities are called upon again to help solve an age old mystery. This time however there is her baby daughter to consider as her grandmother tries to enlist her help, why does the teddy bear cause excitement... She is trying to write her TV scripts but Teresa keeps getting in the way... Nikki Loy's narration is once again excellent and I am looking forward to starting the third in the series in a few days.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.

A little bit different, and I love it.

Psychic abilities have been expressed by people all over the world. Who knows, maybe they are real. You can definitely imagine this family and their abilities could be real. I absolutely love this series and can’t wait for the next instalment. They don’t know who is sending them messages or why. Lots of twists. Highly recommended.
