About this listen

After the Seelie king Torin nearly froze me to death, I plunged through a portal into my true home. Turns out, my hometown is a wild Unseelie kingdom known as the Court of Sorrows. When Torin follows me and sees my new horns, he quickly realizes that his intended bride is an enemy of his realm. In fact, his name for my kind is "demon."

But even if I have the horns of an Unseelie, I'm not welcome here, either. Queen Mab and her monstrous soldiers are delighted to torment us, accusing me of being a traitor. If we want to get out of the Court of Sorrows with our lives, the only hope we have is to stay as close to each other as possible—even if it means fleeing on horseback and sharing a bed. Every moment is bittersweet since it could be our last—and Torin is condemned to kill anyone he loves.

Epic finale 🗡🏹😍

I really enjoyed this series, it plenty of drama, tension, battles and nail biting moments. Even better than the first book.
In here we discover a different side of the fae world, and it is even more brutal and unforgiving.
Ava and Torin have to truly fight for their lives and the impossible task of being together. We get some spice but it's very mild and not the focus of the book at all. Some twists and turns too, but we get a hea.
I did hybrid reading with the kindle version too and my only problem with the kindle edition is that the extra epilogue is not in it, and I had to click on a link for it.
But that same epilogue is on the audio book 🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
Amanda did an amazing job narrating all characters, but I did miss a male voice here too.

A good book series

Ambrosia is brilliant! I couldn’t put this read down. The story wraps up really nicely. I think the narrator was a fab choice and brought the characters to life.

Wow, This Lived Up To Frost.😍⭐️❄️🌱🌿

Ambrosia: Frost and Nectar series, Book 2
By: C.N. Crawford
🎧 Audiobook Narrated by: Amanda Dolan
Length: 8 hrs and 50 mins
📖 Ebook

Frost was so good, I didn't know how it would be possible for this writing duo to match it with book #2. I'm very pleased to report that they managed it, and then some!💥😍

We meet some of the Unseelie 'Demons' in this book, obviously. Phew, they're an interested bunch.🤔😱 Ava has so much to come to terms with now, and she still hopes to be claimed as family by someone!💔

Torin is torn apart by his protectiveness towards Ava. His feelings got the better of him, again.🥺 He doesn't want her to suffer because of him.

We meet some Unseelie royals, and they might be holding a bit of a grudge.🤏😳

The world building in this realm is even better than Frost, I felt. I was swept up and away from the first to the last word!😍🫶 I'm so sad this duet is over.
I truly hope we get more books about other characters, such as Orla and the Unseelie Prince, in the future.🙏🏼❄️🌿

This deserves every one of its five stars and more!⭐️

I was so glad I went back and enjoyed this series with this audiobook.🎧 The narrator did a really good job.👏

A satisfactory conclusion, but lacks punch

This was a satisfying conclusion to the story, but felt a little lackluster. I had to listen to the ending several times as I kept losing focus. It's suitably epic but for some reason I don't care as much as I should. I think this is typical of CN Crawford's work - it's solid, enjoyable but never quite makes it to my favourites.

Enjoyable series

I actually enjoyed this series. I mistakenly read some reviews before hand which weren’t very good but decided to give it a go. I did see some of the storyline and plot twists coming but I still found it to be an engaging story and it kept me interested to the very end. The only criticism I have if that all are performed by Amanda rather than having a male narrator for Torin which I think would be better.

Decent book, weird narration

The plot was decent but the pace felt off, especially a rushed sort of conclusion followed by what felt like 3 spaced out epilogues. The narrator’s accents were a nightmare, especially Moria’s - once I figured out she sounded like Moira Rose I couldn’t take her seriously.
