Editor reviews
Voice actor Alpha Trivette proves a strong, grounding presence in this tough audiobook about post-traumatic stress disorder in the modern era.
T. Christian Miller and Daniel Zwerdling's Aftershock: The Blast That Shook Psycho Platoon is a short but heavy work about the devastating impact of war and specifically combat fatigue on thousands of soldiers annually, It focuses on the lives of five soldiers who survived a bomb blast together in Baghdad, Iraq, and the implications which that incident had on their mental health, and even the health and lives of those around them. Trivette is a skilled performer who remains calm while delivering this powerful and extremely important material,

E,excellent true storg
It is a shame on the British MILITARY and political parties that only 3 small centres in the UK have been built for Veterans suffering from basic PTSD. Each only able to treat a maximum of 30 Veterans for millions of Veterans.
A shame and disgrace on. The UK Government REFUSED to fund more treatment.
Preferring to leave. Treatment?? To the underfunded NHS. Many Psychiatry department unable to provide effective treatment and care of Veterans.
I am offered a yearly 20 minute session. The first 10 minutes concerned with my smart way of dress then an admission by Doctor he has little experience of MILITARY PTSD.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
