Summary
Entertaining, crazy, and hilarious stories from Scott Ian of Anthrax
Scott Ian, famous for cofounding legendary thrash metal band Anthrax and only slightly less so for his iconic beard, has done and seen a lot in his decades of touring. Those of you who have heard Scott's memoir I'm the Man may know the history of the band, but Access All Areas divulges all the zany, bizarre, funny, and captivating tales of what went on when the band wasn't busy crafting chart-topping albums.
In his more than 30 years immersed in the hard rock scene, Scott has witnessed haunting acts of depravity backstage, punched a legendary musician, been a bouncer at an exclusive night club, guest-starred with Anthrax on Married with Children, invaded a fellow rock star's home, played poker professionally, gone on a non-date with a certain material girl, appeared on The Walking Dead, and much more.
Access All Areas allows its listeners to do just that. With humor, candor, hindsight, and writing chops that would make Stephen King jealous (nope, not even on Bizarro world), Scott Ian takes his fans along for the ride at all the parties, hot spots, and behind-the-scenes shenanigans they will never hear about from anyone else. And none of it would have happened without a bit of divine inspiration from KISS. (No, seriously. Listen to chapter two.) Best of all, Scott seemingly lacks the ability to be embarrassed, making Access All Areas howlingly funny, self-deprecating, and every bit as brash and brazen as one would expect from one of the original architects of speed metal.

Awesome
Scott draws you in with his personality and enthusiasm, and this book was a great listen. In addition, while I’ve been an Anthrax fan since the 80s and knew who Scott was, I think I’d still say that regardless, since his charisma is undeniable.

some great stories here from Scott. Some I'd heard before in his spoken word show , others were new and brought a smile to my face. A great listen for the fans and anyone looking for entertaining anecdotes

Funny and great stories
A very funny collection of stories by Scott Ian.
Not as informative as I'm the man but still wickedly funny as told by the man himself

Very entertaining, Scott's a genuine story teller
Really enjoyed this, all but the poker stories, he went over the top with the poker. But otherwise, cool stories.
Towards the end I was blown away by the Dimebag story, hilarious and very touching. So sad that he's not with us anymore.
Scott's an awesome story teller and can really deliver like a pro.

a great book ,but
I'd have given this the full five stars, but it's not quite up there with I am the man, read in Scott's usual full throttle New York patter it's still a great read, but without the chronological progression of his first book it sometimes left me frantically trying to place the events in time. But hey maybe that's just me.

Another Stunning Book Of Tales from Scott Ian
Brilliant!!
Another collection of tales from the master of Metal !!
Worth the purchase price alone for the Dime Bag Darrell story !!
If you enjoyed “I’m the Man” then you’ll enjoy thus too
Mibbe a bit technical on the Poker Stories, but other than that a thoroughly enjoyable listen !
And .... it’s narrated by Scott, so it’s a million times better to here him tell his stories than some voice actor !!
Please write another one Scott !!
