Intersesting and worthwhile

I enjoyed this book and will listen to it a few times more. There is quite a lot to take on but the balance is ok. I look at these kind of books as having some useful information and here we are treated pretty heavily with the Ego or Eagle as he says it. That is the only piece of pronunciation that bothered me and its worth it having the writer read.

After a few more listens I noticed that he states that the book is not a an "interesting" one to be pick up and read whenever the reader fancies but I shall let my title remain as I did find much of in interesting. I found much of the information in the book relatable to so this helps matters a great deal. I see that he has a lot of books out which I find rather odd.

If for any reason one day you suddenly saw everything quite differently or felt strangely more aware than usual to your surroundings this book may be worth looking into. Didn't like the pain body topic because it made me feel uncomfortable but there is maybe a reason behind that.

Great Material Covered

I really enjoy Eckhart Tolle’s work, as I find he makes me ask myself questions that I definitely wouldn’t otherwise. This book is no exception to that. It is different than general self help books in the sense that it doesn’t just challenge your habits or mindfulness, it challenges the very nature of your thoughts. It also helps massively in forming empathy towards people who are unkind or angry, and how to not allow it to affect you for hours after, which is definitely a huge issue for a lot of people. Our inner peace can frequently be disrupted for hours after an encounter with an unpleasant person that lasts a few minutes.

Can’t recommend this book enough. As a Buddhist, I find this to have a lot of materials that link in to my training, so it’s a great supplement. I also find it to do a great job at kick-starting my awareness when I find myself regressing back into a clouded mind.

A true path to freedom

Be prepared to listen and Re listen as this book is a spiritual journey. If like me you will have to listen to whole chapter without jumping to a conclusion

Life changing

The follow up for power of now. Fills in all the gaps. Brings more wisdom and clarity into your life. Yes his voice is monotone but it is also calming.

Valuable book.

I'm listening third audio book of E. Tolle and want more. I struggled to like at first how slow he spoke but I seeked for knowledge and when I was ready i embraced with patience to listen and I fall in love with all what he says and him as a being. He takes time and explains simply and clearly... now I love those long pauses. I learned to love that quiet with his books. The book is very valuable.

Eckhart is a game changer

this is the second attempt at this book and biy was I ready this time! this book has brought further clarity to my journey, explanations come with examples that make understanding easier and also bring the points home. if you're on a self discovery journey and have picked this book and think it's not for you, hold onto it, come back when its time!
