About this listen
As a child of the 1970s, Nick loved "Jailhouse Rock". What if Elvis hadn’t died?
It’s 2010, he’s in his 40s, and Nick is throwing everything he has into developing his new app: an adventure game where the player can use time travel to try to change history, and he’s sure it will be a hit. As he loads in important dates in history, something unexpected happens. He’s gone back in time!
August 13, 1977. Memphis, Tennessee. Not far from Graceland, Nick tries to come to grips with the impossible. Maybe he has been working too hard and it’s a dream? Can it be real? It didn’t matter. Nick knew he had just three days to save the king. What’s his first move?
You’ll love this time-travel thriller, because Paul Farmer gives us the perfect mix of tension, humor, and twists to keep you listening.

Brilliant.
This is one of my favourite books so far this year. The characters are well developed and believable in most cases. Nick Cantello is superb, developing an app that enables him to travel back in time. We know history cannot be changed but a little time travel and fantasy is great now and again and thoughts are provoked as to what could be done were it possible. Yes, liberties were taken by the author but this is not a historicaly accurate story, it is just one good entertaining, often humorous work of fiction that I for one would love to be true. There is a twist at the end which is clever although I must admit I did see it coming. Simon B Kelly is perfect at the narration with some wonderful voices bringing all the characters to life. a 10 star listen, definitely!
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.

Drivel
I did listen to this story because I’m sad and didn’t have anything else to do. This is not back to the future, which i was hoping for, this is pure drivel, don’t bother.
