Great for Learning Italian
This is a very useful book for beginners and intermediate learners of the Italian language. It covers a wide span of the Italian vocabulary, which can significantly improve progress in conversational skills. While some people might be able to grasp each word and their meaning on the first listen (in the context presented), it might be better to listen to each word usage about 2-3 times to fully master it's meaning and usage. Just like I experienced, with consistent practice and conversation with Italian speakers, mastery of the Italian language is not far off. Good book.
I recieved a free copy of this book, and have voluntarily left this review as a guide for others.

This book truly delivers.
I am glad I got this book, it has really helped my Italian within a short span of time. There is a general saying about how listening to a native speaker can improve pronunciation, while learning a lot of language vocabulary can improve comprehension. This I found to be true, as this book offers both. As promised, 2000 common words (I did not count specifically, although I'll approximate as such) used in various context of everyday interaction. I followed all the word usage via the accompanying Pdf, along with the English translations.
I'll keep listening, till my comprehension and pronunciation is flawless. Also, I look forward to other similar books on Italian from this author.
I got a free copy of this book, and I have decided to leave a review of my experience.

It's about more than 2000 words
I'm at intermediate level in Italian and am finding this audiobook very useful. It is not suitable for a total beginner. But for someone who already knows a fair bit of Italian, it's great for expanding vocabulary and getting better at following what native Italians say. It's not so much about learning the most common words, I think I'll know most of them, it's more about hearing those words spoken in context by a native Italian. This helps you understand when to use each word and how. Another great thing is that each contextual sentence is first said very slowly and then faster, which is brilliant practice for learning to follow Italians when they are speaking quite fast.

Worth listening to this book.
Each word is presented with an example sentence by an Italian speaker. I am at an intermediate/advanced level but still found it helpful as a recap of words I already know. I think it would be fine for complete beginners to Italian too.

Very useful
I have got a lot from this the audio and have not found anything else that does quite the same job. I listen to the audio in the car or when i’m cooking for example, and am working through the written book by writing the phrases out a few times without looking at them. The translation are sometimes a little odd but the great thing is the words are current and relate to things you will really talk about. The audio doesn’t go on for too long before you get the English translation so it really helps to imbed the new words in your brain. I would love it more if the numbers were in italian to help me get used to hearing them.

bitterly disappointing
why "the f***" didn't the phrases get referenced in Italian word numbers rather than English? we all know f**** English. that's why we listen to language courses. we could have learned the numbers as we went along, also the phrases could have been repeated twice
