Sumit Deshpande is an author, songwriter, speaker, technology executive, and dreamer - not necessarily in that order. He loves to write about hope, faith, and love...any other topic that captures his fancy. His current published works include: - “The Ballad of the Traveler”, an award-winning children’s book series that teaches the values of generosity and hospitality. - “Higher Road” and “Deeper Waters”, which are short meditations on integrity, spiritual growth, and relationships. - "Prodigals", a fiction novella based on a popular story from the Bible. He has several other titles being authored that he hopes to complete in the midst of working a full-time job, getting stuff done with family, volunteering at church, and chaperoning his kids between events. Sumit is an accomplished technology product management executive, and the founder of The Dyfference, a movement that encourages, equips, and energizes people from every generation to flourish in their gifting and calling. Sumit has been a city boy most of his life, having lived in Mumbai, Hong Kong, and New York, but now resides in semi-rural North Carolina with his wife and three children. He is a Black Belt in Taekwondo and loves to spend time reading, hiking, meditating at the beach, and cooking unreplicable gourmet meals.
