Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sherry Fortner has spent most of her life in the surrounding communities. She acquired her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee and her Master's and Educational Specialist Degrees from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Sherry taught school for thirty years in Tennessee and Georgia. Recently retired, she now writes romance and paranormal novels full time from her home in Southeastern Tennessee where she lives with horses, dogs, barn cats, and chickens. Dark Angel is her debut release in her Anak Trilogy, Forever Series, She is currently working on the third novel in the series.
