Ryan Silbert is the founder of Origin Story Entertainment. Silbert’s expansive repertoire includes such films as the Academy Award® winning short-film, God of Love; Julius Onah’s debut feature Spike Lee’s The Girl is in Trouble; and the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon with Village Roadshow, Sanibel Films and Vertigo Entertainment which is written and directed by Lynne Ramsay.  As a creator, writer and author, Silbert is responsible for three franchises: Stan Lee’s New York Time's Best-Selling saga, Alliances working alongside Stan Lee and Magik Doom; RomeroVerse in partnership with Christine Romero’s Sanibel Films; and The Coldest Case with James Patterson Entertainment and Friendly Heights which was 2021’s Top Ten most listened to global audio project on Audible. Silbert received a Lovie Award and a nomination for Best Audio Drama by the Audie Awards and Webby Awards for his writing on The Coldest Case. Ryan is active in his philanthropic efforts as an appointed member of several Advisory Boards at Cornell University, NYU, and volunteer work for various organizations including Producers Guild of America, National Board of Review, among others. Prior to Origin Story, he began his career managing communication for Hasbro’s toy lines including Transformers and Beyblades which he helped launch in the U.S. market as well as serving as a creative consultant for award-winning campaigns for several food and beverages businesses including illycaffè where he curated the revolutionarily Galleria illy experiential cafe in Manhattan which became the template for the companies international retail roll-out. His work as a director and producer includes multiple award-winning commercials, music videos, and branded entertainment including work for the Olympics, NBC, DirecTV, Verizon, and Samsung.  Silbert graduated with honors from Cornell University with a dual degree in Communication and Business and received his MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program where he also completed a post-doc, investigating immersive narratives in games and film.
