Dr Ellie's first book ‘Keep Calm, The New Mum's Manual’ was released in March 2014. With a forward by Jools Oliver, it is the perfect antidote to guilt-inducing parenting guides and competitive mums. Ellie is now often quoted in the parenting media with her expertise featuring in Mother & Baby and Boots Parenting magazines. Keep Calm is recommended as number 1 for first time parents by The Independent and Vogue.  Her second book, also born from her experience as a GP for over decade, “Is Your Job Making You Ill?” (Jan 2018) is a guide aimed at empowering and healing anyone who is mentally or physical unwell as a result of their job. It has been endorsed by mental health campaigner Jonny Benjamin MBE who says ‘Dr Ellie’s book gives comprehensive advice and practical words of wisdom from her years of experience that will be extremely reassuring to anyone who is struggling’. 2025 sees the release of Ellie's book collaborating with influencer Millie Mackintosh on her memoir going sober and living life alcohol-free. In september 2025 The Little Book of HRT will be released which is a must-have guide for any woman wanting to know about HRT, beyond the media-hype and scaremongering. Dr Ellie Cannon is the resident GP for the Mail on Sunday and Mailonline with a weekly column featuring health advice. She is a regular commentator on health and medical matters across radio, TV and social media. Dr Ellie read medicine at Cambridge University and has worked as a GP in London for over 15 years
