David has yet to become successful enough to talk about himself in the third person, so he's just going to ramble briefly in first person. If this bio eventually switches entirely to third person, you'll know his writing career is doing well: At the encouragement of my friends, I have become an author. It will take a few more published works before I consider myself a writer. The Prometheus Effect is my debut novel. Like all things on the first try, I surely made some mistakes. It was a valuable learning experience and my future tales will be better for it. I hated reading at an early age. Writing? Even more so. Not my circus, not my monkeys. It was boring. Then I found my niche in science fiction and discovered that I loved to read. Writing? Nope. Still hated it. I had nothing to say. Fast forward a few decades and my life experiences, opinions, and outlook on the world evolved. Most people only have one worst day in their life. I've witnessed too many of these to count in my twenty-eight years as a professional firefighter. I did my best to make things better. Good or bad, I now have stories to tell, and a passion for writing. So, as far as my future books and characters go, this is my circus, and these are my monkeys. Cheers.
