Christopher Hicks (born July 12, 1982) is an American author of horror, suspense, and thriller fiction. Growing up in Lansing, West Virginia, Christopher claimed he was "born to write." He wrote his first short story, Trouble Makers, when he was 8 years old, and went on to write twelve more short stories and a play before becoming a teenager. The idea for his first novel, Journal of a Madman, came to him during a blackout while he was working in the kitchen of a small hospital. He began writing it in 2003, and didn't finish for nine years. In addition to Journal of a Madman, he has five other novels currently in production.
