Bob is a retired supervisory intelligence officer with NGA. He grew up in the St. Louis area. By the time he was in high school he knew he wanted to do two things with his life; he wanted to fly in the military and he wanted to work in law enforcement. After graduating from college, he earned a commission in the USMC and designation as a Naval Aviator. He returned to the St. Louis area after his active duty and worked as a police officer. When the Twin Towers were attacked, he joined the National Guard and flew Black Hawk helicopters in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. While in Iraq he applied for and accepted a position with NGA. Now he and his wife live a quiet life in the country surrounded by trees.
